In this episode I demonstrate board sanding on the opera windows and upper quarter panels. Also I start it up so you can hear how awesome this car sounds.

Excellent job on the progress also I found a 1976 Ford Torino elite I have been eyeballing for a while just needs a tune up and smog check . Its Blue but once I buy it I will paint the stripe the correct way. Also the tires are Mickey Thompson Sportsmans

Hi Omar. Are you sure you want to starskyize an Elite? The only thing the body shares with a torino is the glass, trunk lid and rear bumper. They make awesome donor cars though. They have the same wheel base as a T-Bird and Cougar.

I've always wondered why so few people don't put the side bumper trim back on the car? Maybe you can shed some light?.....

Are you talking about the sight shields?
@rosskilly89914 жыл бұрын
In the uk we call it side trim,You might have another name for it in the states. The rubber/plastic trim that runs along the side of the car ( just under the stripe) it's basically a paint/dent protector from other peoples carelessness when they fling their doors open (and shopping carts Lol).

@@rosskilly8991 Well, it is personal taste. I always remove the side protection molding because I believe it ruins the body line and is ugly. Some people want it to remain on because they want to clone a 1st season S&H car. None of the 76 L.E. Units had side protection molding. Take care.
