Since I've only recently picked up the sport, I haven't yet developed consistent enough form or arm speed to really take advantage of some of the distance drivers... but I'm really happy that I found the Supreme Judge for putting and upshots, and the River for fairway and mid shots. Both are very forgiving to the beginner but very predictable and usable for the more advanced.

Axiom Envy for approach, Axiom Crave for anything under 330ft, Discraft Get Freaky Zone for flicks, MvP Reactor mid range. That's only 4 because I'm not going to make up a 5th. Those 4 discs will be in my bag forever

Vandal is underrated. Right now it's my favorite disc for woods golf. It is a bit flippy, but once you learn the right hyzer angle, you can throw lazer beams on tunnel shot holes, turnovers, hyzer to late turnover. Just super workable, glides really well and fun to throw and shape shots, and it won't dump out and skip sideways off in the bushes usually.

If I could only bag five, it would be: Keystone, Claymore, River, Saint and Bolt. With these five straight discs I could go anywhere I want (which makes me wonder why I even have 40+ discs) 😊

I’m an MVP fanboy, partly because I think they have the best lightweight discs. I like doing 5 disc rounds as well. 1. Fission photon 2. Fission wave 3. Fission crave 4. Glow reactor 5. Atom as my putter

Good content. I like your breakdown of shot and disc choices. My 5 are: Gateway Magic SSS putter, Mako3 mid, TeeBird FD, Lat 64 Diamond (flippy) and RoadRunner DD. Still learning - just a year plus in to this sport, but I bit hard and play everyday, all year long (Canuck, so winters with lots of snow throwing with ribbons on the discs). My 2 putters - Paige Pierce Fierce (shaping shots with the fierce is almost too easy) and Sky God IV (for more stability), Midrange - Star Mako3 (I throw a Chris Dickerson Swirly Buzzz when I need more fade), Fairway - Star Teebird3, Distance - Star Destroyer or Star Wraith.

I’m not a pro.. I do throw around 350-375 on average with anything from fd, wraith, destroyer, Valkyrie, cloud breaker.. I have a disc addiction and have many others. The enigma is hands down my bomb disc.. cloud breaker right behind it. Cloud breaker gets 400ish.. I bombed an enigma for 460 recently though. It flips up, turns, and glides forever.

Hey man! Loving the videos as I’m trying to get more into disc golf and I’m struggling to keep my throws flat. They tend to go very far to the left. Any tips on release for a backhand? My 4 discs are probably the sword, warship, champion Valkyrie, and prime judge

If you’re just now getting into disc golf I would suggest throwing even more understable discs. Try throwing a diamond or a something like that to work on touch. And If you want to work on throwing the disc flat I would film yourself and see if you’re leaning over the disc. Or just throwing it on a Hyzer angle and that should help. Filming yourself makes a huge difference

You should do a channel build your bag round where you do some polls for driver, mid, and putter on Instagram then play a round with the top choices for those 3 plus 2 choices of other styles like understable throwing putter or overstable mid.
