nah, i play with my buddies all the time outside of ranked. after a certain point large stacks just dumpster purely because of coordination. if you're against even a 3 stack and you're solo queue'ing even if you're better overall you're still more likely to lose@@DelRae

Nope. It will try to pit you vs another stack of comparable skill, but it still favors queue time so if no fair stacks are found then you'll go up against smaller stacks or no-stacks, as long as lobby rating overall is comparable. You'll never be put into a stack-exclusive queue.
