My 5 Tips for Downsizing to Smaller Handbags

Today's video is my 5 tips to downsizing to a smaller handbag. These tips can be used for downsizing to a smaller day bag, or for using an even smaller going out bag. I use small bags all the time, and I find that I can fit all of my necessities in even my smallest bags by using these tips.

I do exactly the same as you re downsizing. Keys, phone, lipstick, powder compact, cards and cash in tiny pouch or wallet, tissues and mints and I'm good to go 😊 No point carrying around the kitchen sink when you go out at night lol. Good that you had a fun night out after being housebound! Helen

Hand lotion can be decanted into a tiny sample jar. As long as I keep refilling, I really don't need anything bigger, so my sample jar has a permanent space in my pouch of miscellaneous.

I like using small carabiners or s-biners to attach keys to a central keychain, so I can remove stuff easily. Actually, I use a key pouch, and put the s-biner on my car key or any key I don't need at all times.

There are cards you can use instead of reading glasses. Credit card size, but slightly thicker. Some are cut so you can put them on your nose and some are not and are used as a magnifying glass. Good enough for emergency use, but not for reading a book.

I do the same with the tissues :) Just a few are enough if you need them especially for a smaller bag

I look in my Neverful mm which is loaded to the brim and then go "how am I going to downsize" lol. Then I do because who needs all that stuff on a daily basis. So I have gotten better and have done much like you with only the bare necessities? If I am going to be gone all day and need to bring extra items then I will have to carry a larger bag. Thanks for sharing your tips. You always do such a nice job.

Thank you, Melissia! I would highly suggest starting with luxury re-sale websites, such as Fashionphile and Yoogiscloset. They authenticate every bag and you would have full assurance that your are buying authentic. I buy most of my bags on eBay, but I go through a thorough process before buying, and always get the bags authenticated. I've never seen a Goyard cles, it looks gorgeous! Could you do a comparison between the Louis Vuitton cles and the Goyard one?

Sure - I'll add it to my list :) My friend brought it back from Europe for my birthday last year. I didn't ask where she got it, but she's a big Goyard fan. The only real difference between the two, is that the Goyard cles is a little bigger. It holds a little more and it's easier to get cards in and out. Other than that, they are the same - with the key chain on the inside.
