I'll just give the rundown of the skincare serums for anyone who's searching for that great final answer on dark spots and acne scarring. The vitamin C serum she uses is good for brightening skin. Hyaluronic acid serum=healing skin. Salicylic acid serum=remove blackheads. Retinol serum=clear acne. Niacinamide serum=minimize pores. And arbutin serum=even skin tone. Ofc there's many more but these are the basics that ppl go to. Hope that helped!

my acne just vanished when I stopped doing skincare, exfoliating, and everything. I've struggled my entire life and now finally it's "clean" because of water drinking, eating clean (just food from the ground, that naturally is there such as rice, meat, veggies, etc), and some exercise.

I started noticing the dark acne spots as well. Something that really helps me is using a facebrush to exfoliate. It has helped me tremendously by taking away the old acne and dark spots. I bought a facial brush from CVS, nothing fancy but it does the job well. It's not an overnight process but with dedication you'll see results in no time.
@krystalmaya_2 жыл бұрын
omg i've heard of this but im scared it might be too rough? is it not?
@TheGetchaweightup242 жыл бұрын
@@krystalmaya_ it's not bad, I myself have very sensitive skin and rosacea. So when I use it I don't put a lot of pressure down on it so it doesn't rub into my skin too hard. I do circular motions left to right then right to left, I also do it going across. So I try and get every part of my face lol. Wet the brush head first and make sure you have some facial cleanser on your face as well.

I used to have really bad acne. Try to use a fresh towel each time (this has been the best thing for me). I break out almost immediately, if I use the same towel more than once. At the end of the week, I’ll wash a load of towels on the hottest cycle. I hardly ever get a pimple anymore. If you can’t get on board with using a fresh towel each time, invest in a microfiber towel, because they dry a lot faster than cotton, leaving less time for bacteria to grow.
@krystalmaya_2 жыл бұрын
that's a really good point. tysm for this tip!! Do you recommend any specific microfiber towel brand?
@ginay46622 жыл бұрын
Hello! I replied to this, but I think it got rejected because I placed a link. I just buy the microfiber wrap towels from Wal-Mart. Amazon also has them, too. I just buy the cheap ones, because I’m frugal! My favorite microfiber for my face are coral fleece microfiber cloths. I can usually get a set of 18 for about $12 or less on Amazon, and they last me forever, and take off makeup like nothing else I’ve used, and you can just throw them in with your laundry or towels, because fleece doesn’t catch lint like normal microfiber does.
@ginay46622 жыл бұрын
I should have specified that the wrap microfiber towels have a Velcro on them, so you wrap them on your body after drying and it’s like a towel dress. I live in AZ, so it’s great because it’s too hot here for a robe. They do have corral fleece wrap towels as well, but they are too expensive for me, so I use the affordable ones, but corral fleece is the best if you can invest in that! :)

Great motivational video!! Thank you! As for dark spots, I had sun damage and really dark spots around my eyes and upper lip. I looked like I had a mustache. I tried all kinds of natural oils and products that promised to get rid of dark spots and only thing that worked well was retin A prescribed by a dermatologist. I got the generic brand and the spots went away completely in a few months. I use high spf sunscreen now. The retin A is super drying so I used it every other day and put some face cream on top of the retin A.

I literally just paused this video and ran up my steps to double check the names of the products that saved my LIFE with my skin. I literally had the craziest hyperpigmentation from a random time in 2020 when my skin decided to jump ship on me. Paula’s Choice 2% BHA liquid exfoliant is a HOLY GRAIL LIFE CHANGING PRODUCT. Like forreal. It faded my scarring quick and keeps my hyperpigmentation under control at all times. It’s more on the pricey side but so so so worth it. I used that and then the Eminence Stone Crop hydrating mist (it’s a toner). The combo of these two together…. Sis your hyperpigmentation will literally be gone or noticeably faded in a month or less. I swear by these products (no not sponsored. I’m just so obsessed with them and they really helped me when I was feeling mad insecure about my skin). The toner is also a bit more on the pricey side though so if you wanted to try one over the other first, Paula’s Choice Exfoliant is the non negotiable for me! I hope this helps love! 💕

Gently rub it on you face, if you have acne be careful cause sugar is rough, leave it for five minutes on your face. And since you have a dog, keep him away, i made a mistake and left the door open and my cat jumped on and try to lick it away 😂 fur and honey, not a good combo. Wash off with warm water and pat the excess water with a clean towel, and that's it! ✨✨✨ I did it once a week, or every two weeks 😉 hope it helps!

I started using the Cocokind raspberry vinegar toner and noticed that it helped heal acne and scarring! Not what I was using it for but it worked great for that.

Beautiful. Word of advice: Cut the “Don’t judge me”. If they do it’s on them. It’s ok to be cozy and natural at 7 ish in the morning ❤

So close to 1k! Way to go, girl!! Subscribing rn !! How did you gain the confidence to just start posting? How do you even know WHAT to post? I’m having trouble convincing myself to just START 😂

Awe Katie this means so much to me!! Thank you for supporting and watching. 💗 Honestly, it has taken me a few years to actually get started, then this year I finally decided to stop being so afraid of what people thought and went for it and it has been the best decision I've made. The best piece of advice I got was something along the lines of "People are going to judge you no matter what you do & if you're not good at something when you first start how are you going to get better of you don't start at all?" Right now I am honestly just posting videos that I want to make and going with what sticks!!

I loveee this video. It gave me a big snse of motivation …. Btw, I had the same acne problem as u do. Since I turned 11, I’ve had big impels, acne scars, and white/blackheads… I tired every off the counter stuff and nothing worked so I decided to see a dermatologist and they had to give me personal creams and medication and it’s helped a lot! It’s not as costly as I thought, but it’s helped!,!

Yay! So happy you found motivation through this. I'll def take your recommendation I've been struggling with acne since I was super young too and saw a dermatologist way back when! i haven't been since middle school, so this was a great reminder to go and get checked tysm

I use a kojic acid serum that’s safe for the whole body and bliss glycolic acid peel pads. And to tame my acne I use the bliss clear genius serum. I’ve struggled with acne for over 15 years. These are the ONLY things that have worked for acne and dark spots. (Oh but diet really helped tame it too. No gluten and very little dairy and sugar.)

I just stumbled across your channel (i love it already btw) and was wondering if you would ever do a workout routine or just what you do in the gym ? i’m trying to start going, but I have no clue where to start so i feel like that’d be a good video idea haha
@krystalmaya_2 жыл бұрын
First off good for you girly!! I'm so proud of you that you want to start going to the gym! I've def been there where I am intimidated, but the more you go the more comfortable you will feel. Personally I haven't thought about putting a video out regarding my workout routine because there's so many amazing other channels. But i do use the evolve you app and they plan out the entire workout + a schedule. & it has a description on how to perform the exercise (: i would also recommend taking classes too (hiit, yoga, boxing) there are so many other ways of movement that you can find that you love.
