I often think that creator's affiliate links are missing a great opportunity. I'm Canadian so when I click through to a US link, most commonly Amazon, I can't buy whatever the item is. I have to copy it's name and go find a Canadian link. So even though the KZbinr has made me excited to buy, they don't credit for it. Why not create a link to the item in Amazon Canada and Europe maybe? Just a thought to help increase those affiliate dollars 😀

I don’t BUT it’s insanely easy, like, just Google Amazon Affiliate and sign up! The process is different if you want to be an Amazon influencer - you have to be approved based on follower counts, etc but not to be a regular affiliate!

How to you decide on a topic to start a channel on? I have a few different hobbies that I really enjoy but are really vastly different. I only have my corporate job so I need some more streams of income 🙈

Treat it like a Venn Diagram, on one side list all of the ideas you have and on the other side do some research on niches that do really well and see where they overlap. BUT ALSO, we can love a lot of things without wanting to do them forever so which one would you be happy with for the next 5 years? Example: we live on a farm and my husband farms and I would LOVE to have a farming channel but *I* am not the farmer and *I* like staying in the warm house when he has to feed in the winter 😂, so while it’s a fun thing I’d love to do a channel about I couldn’t keep up with it long-term

Question: Is it that you can't get certain things(like ads and sponsors) without being monetized and having those 1000 subscribers and 4000 watch hours?

You can't make money from the KZbin ads placed on your videos (they will sometimes still place them) until you're monetized but you could still get sponsors because that's completely outside of KZbin - they don't dictate what sponsors you can have and when :)
