A very happy 8th anniversary! The knot on the Omega 10098 is almost perfect! I am highly impressed with it. Tony Tony's 10098 has a knot you'd love. As always, I am very proud to be within this circle for the last eight years. The inventive, entertaining, educational, and honest episodes are without equal. In my wildest imagination would I have ever conceived performing a three-pass shave on the revered turf of St Andrew's Old Course! I re-watch it often. My favorite still is the Robbie Burn's Day shave. The revisiting of Tam O'Shanter kept my attention focused. It took me way back, when I first read it. My imagination soared. The macabre, satirized, yarn is Burns' magnum opus. Thank you for being you, dear friend. I raise a pint for the last eight years, and another pint for the next 8. This gives me an excuse to drink. So I've spent a good amount of time in that beautiful part of the world. I also ate my fair share of sticky toffee pudding... I do love it and it is not easy to find over here in Germany, where I've been living for the past few years... at least we still get great whisky-s, so that part's sorted. I pour a dram and raise it to the next 8 years!

It quickly became my #2 favorite DE safety razor. Your reviews of the GC had a lot to do with me getting mine. It's not just a good shaver. It looks good too. For a stainless steel razor, I think it's the best deal for the money. Nice shave, Kevy. Alum and witch hazel are two post-shave items I always use. Have a great weekend. Cheers!

Went back and watched your first video before watching this one. Man, talk about day and night with your confidence wielding that razor. I’m 55, Kevy, and still using a cartridge razor, been wet shaving with a brush for about 7 years. Anyway, I’ve been wanting to make the transition and that’s how I came across your channel. You cut the shit out of yourself in that first shave. I have to admit, I’m a bit scared of these DE razors. Any advice? I’m looking to get the Merkur 34c after seeing so many recommendations. Do you agree? My current main shave cream is TOBS, either Tobacco Leaf or Sandalwood. Love the vids,Kevy. I may join you on KZbin when I do this. I have a channel now with about 8500 subscribers, but it’s about life in Japan. I’ll be making a new channel right here on this account. This is my YT Premium account.

Thanks. You won't go wrong with a 34C, it's the perfect starter razor. My advice would be...take your time, try not to press the razor onto your skin like you would a cartridge razor. Try out lots of different blades, you'll be surprised how different they all feel! Most of all, enjoy it. There's lots of videos you could try watching for little tips and advice, but everyone is different. Part of the fun will be seeing what works best for you and your skin. @@kevyshaves4109 Thanks, Kevy. I ordered the 34c a couple days ago. Also ordered a Simpson T3 brush and TOBS Oud shave cream. This Simpson will have to fight for its spot though. I have a TOBS brush that I’m using quite a bit lately. My Japan channel is “mullysplace”. You’ll have to dig back a bit for content. The past few years my wife and I have been doing a joke of the day on shorts. Note, the comedy of the jokes is my wife’s reaction. That’s our focus with the jokes.
