Great to see you again Kevy! I am in Japan right now. Last day today. I shaved 3 weeks with my Razorock Lupo Aluminium and the Speick or Nivea Stick. Blade was the Wilkinson or Voskhod. So at least always the same razor. Fantastic shaves without nicks or cuts!! And i get nicks easy. Cheers Kevy!

Glad to see you back Kevy! Without realizing it I've been using the same combo for a while a Razorock Gamechanger in .68 with an Astra SP. Doesn't seem to matter the soap I've got my lather dialed in and I end up getting an amazing shave every time

Been using the Gillette king c, A and E soap, van der hagen brush and personna blades for almost a year now. Welcome back! It has been a while since I saw anyone create a face lather as thick and creamy as yours. You mean there's life other than shaving videos? Sounds like you've been having fun. You should be a natural hamming it up! Good to hear that you've been using my favorite safety razor. I started out with the R3/R1 plate and eventually moved up to the R4/R2 plate. I'm pretty sure back in the day most wet shavers used the same razor, blades, soap, and splash for every shave. There was no rabbit hole back then 😉 Cheers.

I agree, back in those days it was all 1 razor, 1 soap, 1 brush and 1 blade then out. Nothing like that now. This rabbit hole is getting darker...😂

Welcome back, Kevy. Great to see you again and glad to hear about your time on the stage. Too bad we missed the castle tour, but it all sounds delightful. On the shaving front, I've also started sticking to the same equipment shave after shave, especially the razor. No reason not to. I have the PAA Original DOC and endorse it. Good for general grooming. BTW, that quarter twist technique works on the Henson ++ as well.

Glad you are back, Kevy! It’s not the same without you! About 10 years ago, my wife and I were able to spend a few days in Edinburgh during the Fringe. It was a fun time for sure. We live in Toledo, Ohio. We are heading to Ireland in a few days for a couple of weeks. Should be fun!

Hey Kevy great to see you back. It is strange there used to be a lot more wet shaving content a year or two ago. Then they all dropped off around the same time. I wasn't sure if the products were slowing down or there was a meeting under the mountain where everyone agreed to bail at the same time.

Great shave. It’s great to finally see you again after the play went well. The YT wet shaving world isn’t the same without you. While you were away, I challenged myself to using Feather blades for the entire month of August, and I got through it. That experiment/challenge may have been extreme, but I took one for the team just for giggles. With you coming back and the challenge over, things can finally get back to normal for once. I have the stainless PAA DOC ascension, great razor, when I first got it, I would play around with loosening the handle but now I just shave with it fully tightened down, very smooth

Good to see you back Kevy super shave as per normal.would like to buy the Rockwell 6s do you use plate 3 first 2 passes then plate 1 final pass.hopefully will purchase it within next couple of weeks and let you know how I got on.

Thanks. I used plate 3 for passes 1& 2 and plate 1 for the 3rd pass, before sometimes flipping it back to plate 3 for any pickups. Worked great for me. Kevy 😀

Interesting thoughts on using the same gear for a while. I rotate my razors on a weekly basis, so I use the same razor and blade for a week (but vary the software). It does help you get the best from your razor I think.

It doesnt matter if you prefer a thick lather - which is what I prefer - or a thinner lather. There's no right or wrong way, it's entirely up to you how you do it. I enjoy making the lather on my face with a nice brush, it feels great. Cheers. Kevy 😀
