I have 3300 sq feet and a full size basement of about 1200 sq feet. Giant front yard and a backyard. Watching your tour literally made me claustrophobic 😂. But if it makes you happy bro, can’t argue with that.

It's worth it if you have some goal, job, career, etc. that requires you to be in NYC and live in that location, and you can afford it. People always compare it to other places, and say you don't get much space, but if you can live decently well, and take advantage of the opportunities you can get being there, then it could be worth it in the long run.

If NY is the place for you to make good money and a good life then it is an investment, this amount of rent. But people should also talk about capitalism and free market. The homeless in NY. The poor in NY. Not able to afford decent housing. Things do need to change. But hey, I understand you try to make it bigger and better, then 2400$ per month is an investment into your future. But capitalism sucks. It just doesn't suck for the relative few. We can't live our lives while looking away from those with miserabel lives. 'Economic Growth Accompanied By Worsening Social Outcomes, Is Not Succes. It Is Failure.' Quote by Jacinde Ardern, Prime Minister of New Zealand.
