Wait what? She says that she dosent regret the abortion and that it was the best choice,but the hole drama of her story is how she suffered after the abortion because she realized she had lost something...WTF?

A lot of judging fingers in the comments but when it’s you going’s through the experience it’s a whole different story. “Give a baby for adoption if you are not ready to be a mom” it’s also been suggested but, really? Try seeing your body swell and change and feel that baby move inside of you for 9 months! Everybody makes difficult choices every day, NOBODY HERE IS A SAINT, we live with the weight of the choices we make which is not easy. We all have something we feel guilty of or shame. We just have to be respectful and compassionate

If this was supposed to be a pro choice video, it left me very very uncomfortable with abortion.

Yes, I reckon it was supposed to be a "pro-choice" video. And, yes, I'm sure it will leave many people of that persuasion very uncomfortable with abortion. But I think that honesty about the issues that mostly get shut out of the picture can only be helpful to anyone struggling with a decision on whether to end the life of an unborn boy or girl. Because that's the issue to be honestly faced, isn't it? And of course, the future wellbeing and general mental health of the mother, which I doubt is ever flagged up by abortion clinic personnel.

She describes how terrible the ordeal is, as is the very word, "abortion," then proceeds to make the claim she didn't regret her decision. Was it regretful or wasn't it? Bursting into tears in front of friends and being sorrowfully aware of the would-be-birthday sounds like regret to me. When one's conscience and ideology are incompatible, one should question the ideology, not the conscience. I feel for her, I really do, but "shame" isn't a problem, it's a natural consequence, and it doesn't necessarily find its origin from the outside.

I’m afraid the secrecy is innate. We have a moral compass (most of us) that tells us this is huge. And it is. You’re not wrong for aborting your pregnancy, but you’re not wrong for feeling guilt, shame, embarrassment, sadness, loss or any other emotion either. Birth, death and abortions are parts of life and not all of life is nice. Some of it is depressing and hard to cope with. I hope you find peace whoever reads this.

stop shaming her. It’s already hard enough, I had to have an abortion and I was protecting myself, I was not narrow minded, I was an art student at that times that slept 3 hours a day because I had to work at night so I could pay my school, my room and my food. I lived in a 2 room apartment utterly shitty. I didn’t even had a bathroom and had to go to friend’s house next to my door just to have intimacy and be able to brush my teeth, take showers or go the toilet. My boyfriend wasn’t living with me, his parents had tons of money and didn’t even care about my situation. He was in a high-end school and in a high end apartment. I lied to him for 3 years telling him that I was sleeping well, that my apartment was sure small but good, that I didn’t worked at nigh etc. When I found I was pregnantI didn’t want an abortion but I needed one, my grandfather was an undesired child. He has lived all this life without knowing who was his mother. And he had felt pain. I didn’t want an abortion. I needed one. For the sake of my mental stability and for the sad life that this child was destined to live. I was feeling so bad about killing that « bean » that I even tried to kill myself with a knife so he would die with me anyway. My boyfriend was worried. I wasn’t answering my phone, he found my address, he saw where I lived, he saw me in a blood stained tub, almost life less. I almost died. I woke up in a white bed, a hospital bed, not knowing where I was. He was here he hold my hands and told me what happened, I cried, he told he saw everything, from the apartment to the pregnancy test, he told me that everything will be okay, that I will move with him and that I would get an abortion and help. I had an abortion. I felt bad. I really did. But it was for the best. We just couldn’t do it. I am not pro-abortion, nor am I narrow-minded. I am pro choice. I don’t get to chose for somebody’s life. People like you that thinks they are entitled to chose for somebody’s pregnancy are dangerous a,d are in fact the narrow minded people. Abortion is practiced since the Ancient greeks invented it. It has been prohibited many times in the past and guess what ? Women still tried to abort with unsanitary objects. They died. And people like you are the murderers of society.

If they got raped, there’s a lack of security, if it’s like me and they have no/low income or are studying or working their ass of why can’t perceive help from our state ? Why is the adoption system so shitty. And I ‘m sorry to tell it like that but I was taking the pill and I was working while studying. It was my last year of art school, If stopped for a year heck only for a month I would have lost my merit scholarship and I wouldn’t have been able to continue after all my time and effort. Do you understand that ? And shame wouldn’t exist if everybody understood that.

I’m not in any fit state mentally to parent another baby as I suffer from depression with s.uicidal. ideations, on antidepressants to help me survive. I share joint custody of my other children with my ex husband, and I am just about able to cope with them, much less another baby. I hate that I am mentally no longer able to parent a baby, and it hurts my very core, to have to terminate my little bean 😢 but I know I am not in a position mentally to be the mother she/he deserves 😢

This video is amazing. I had an abortion literally today and I was trying to find comfort only to be told I shouldn't have it by people in the comments. I am 16 years of age, my mother would have kicked me out and my baby would have been raised by someone who is mentally ill, still legally a child and would have nothing to offer. It's heartbreaking what I have done and up until 2 months ago I was pro-life all the way, but if you haven't stood in somebody's shoes and saw their future through their perspective then you have absolutely no right to say what is right and wrong. It's all opinion, and while my decision in no way affects any one of you, you're allowed to have your opinion, I just wish you'd respect mine. And maybe it is murder, but I would rather kill my child then allow it to grow up in such a shit environment with hardly any family and a small chance of becoming any type of decent person. So perhaps instead of shaming me for my choice and attempting to make me feel worse than I already do, maybe you should just not have an abortion if you don't agree with it and move on.

I'm having trouble understanding what a 16 y/o who claims she "wasn't ready to raise a child" was doing sleeping around with someone who was apparently "mentally ill" and "legally a child himself". Sharing this is equivalent to accepting this as "normal" behavior for a teenager when it is most certainly not. It is exactly this type of behavior that leads to unfortunate and completely avoidable circumstances like abortion.

I hope all these people who disagree with abortion are the same people adopting or fostering these kids Edit: I have no kids. I was 12 years old when I wrote this. I'm 13 years old. You lot are creeps 😂 2nd Edit: An argument of pro choice people is that the child would not receive proper care. So to counter that argument there should be more foster parents right? Absolutely. HAVE THE BABY EVEN IF YOU CANT FEED IT. Anyone responsible for forcing this woman to have this baby must have interest in the child. Help out. Buy food, clothes; share money. Arrange babysitters and vacations. Start a college fund. You were part of this child's life, now be a part of it, forever. You wanted this little boy or girl to live so much, so do all these things that -- before you -- couldn't be done. Mama knew that, you didn't, so now help her.

@geezusispan lol. umm. okay. first off. "brain washed christians?" a lot, not all, but a lot of pro lifers are atheists. and have said so several times. just because your morals go against abortioms doesn't mean your religion in any way. it just means you know right from wrong. also the whole "old white male" thing has been debunked about a bazillion times. but if it is true. then that means that the woman who gave birth to me, raised me, and taught me pretty much everything I know in life, is secretly a sixty year old white dude. it might explain a lot. but nah dude. my mom is a woman. and yeah she's christian. doesn't mean she's brainwashed. it just means that she has a strong belief in a God that loves His children. And yes you can make the whole "Gods wrath argument" by quoting random out of context verses from the Old Testament. But something I personally believe is that our Father in Heaven does love every one of His children. I haven't been brainwashed. unless you're gonna tell me that my sweet mom brainwashed me. and trust me. she didnt. she is the least deceptive person I know. except maybe for her mother. who is even more black and white. but guys. you have to stop with the whole "only white male christians hate abortion". nah dude. there are plenty of women who will gladly tell you they consider abortion to be murder. until you can actually prove that abortion isn't murder. we aren't going away

@geezusispan lol I think its awesome, that you somehow managed to disrespect my religion, my mom, and most of my beliefs. and you still haven't put any convincing argument. so your argument that abortion isn't murder, is that the police won't arrest you for doing it. that just ebbs laziness. so maybe instead of being a cliche leftist and just trying to guilt me into thinking abrtion isn't wrong. maybe you could do some research and actually tell me scientifically and legally why it isn't murder.
@ethanharmer5151
@ethanharmer5151 5 жыл бұрын
@geezusispan kay I am about to vent so I am sorry you're right. absolutely right according to the laws of man. abortion is not murder. it is not. you're right. so what I am about to say is only my opinion. you can destroy it all you want. but a debate is literally a battle of opinions so I am gonna say it anyways. I have always hated murder. I mean I love game of thrones. and I cant deny that death can be horrifyingly entertaining to watch. but its nothing but evil. now I am not saying g death or even killing is evil. because it isn't. death is a natural part of life. and needs to happen. even some killings is justified if someone was intending to harm the ones I loved. I would not hesitate in doing anything I can to stop them. but murder is different. my personal opinion of murder is stealing. you are robbing someone of their chance of life. war is different. because that is between two sides who made the choice to die. but the person who was murdered did not make that choice. he was forced to die. maybe it was that victims time to die. but no one should have that power of life and death. I truly believe that everyone has potential to live a truly good life. and they all have those opportunities if they are able to find it. but murder is robbing them of that potential. sorry I don't mean t ramble. but in my eyes. abortion is the same thing. you may not believe that little fetus is a human yet. but it will be.no one can deny that little creature will be a human. and yes its probably not going to be this perfect human. thats not the argument. the fact is that it will have the chance to be amazing. just like we all do. who are we to steal that chance just because our life will be a little harder. we chose to have sex. we shouldn't rob someone else of there chic as well

Many are born into unstable environments; financially unstable, emotionally unstable, physically unstable. This inevitably ends in the child growing into an adult who will suffer ill mental health, addiction and often self harm or suicide. It takes a GREAT deal of love and strength, to choose not to bring a child into the World that you believe will not be provided for the way you know they need. It is an unselfish act, to choose to end a life that would only be half lived, or barely lived at all. For those who say 'adoption', you have no idea of the emotional and physical distress suffered by the mother. After all, given the shame felt by so many that have chosen abortion (which is NOT the result of the mother's own regret but rather the shame bestowed upon her by a compassionless and unrelenting society), can you imagine the shame of choosing adoption when all your friends, family and loved ones had watched your pregnancy progress and was visible for all to see? At least women have the option of concealing early pregnancy and abortion- and that- in itself and that ALONE is the issue here. She did not feel shame for her decision- but rather was questioning the role of shame in her life felt as a result of the expectations put upon her. We must change

Working with Pediatricians every day I can say that none of them (some who've been practicing for 25-30 yrs.) have every come across a situation where abortion is necessary to save the life of the mother. Even women that had been raped still had the baby. If you want to be honest, being pregnant by its very nature, carries the risk of death for ALL women. In the US alone, the pregnancy-related mortality rate is approx. .0151%/per 100,000 deliveries). That something like 15 death vs 100,000 births. Yet, over 1.5 million babies are aborted every single year. That's whole countries worth of people. In the UK abortions may only be carried out with two doctors consent and if it meets a long list of criteria, but mainly that abortion would cause less damage to a woman's physical or mental health than continuing with the pregnancy. What's more it can only happen before 24 weeks (except for some rare situations) and is usually before 12 weeks or 9 when possible. The feotus can only feel pain from around 19 weeks. And no one is forcing the abortion, It is the women's own choice if they want to continue or not for whatever reasons.

I was worried i couldn't provide for him. Now. Looking back. I could never imagine not ever meeting him or seeing his face every morning. I dont judge when it comes to abortion because personally I believe it's the "support system" that women have nowadays that draw them to making that decision. No mother wants to have an abortion but nowadays with the judgement from teen pregnancy and people shooting mothers down to be able to take care of their child is the real problem. Could you imagine how many happy mothers and children there would be if people actually helped and supported the mother bettering themselves? Come on y'all. Children and mother's should never have to make the decision of abortion. Everyone knows it takes a huge part of you that neither the child or mother will ever have or get back.

Bottom line: It's strictly the woman's personal choice and rightfully so. This is especially true when you have governments cutting funds for programs for those who cannot afford a living, thus making the child they claim to care about, all the more part of the system that could lead to a downward spiral. And, ironically, those same people who claim to care about "the life", are the same ones who would demonize the less fortunate and shit on them. Call me a cynic, if you like, but they (the pro-birth advocates) are the most selfish beings I've ever came across.

What you're establishing are false equivalencies, as you failed to address the remaining post regarding protecting those whom you claim to care about via government programs for the parents, which is the point that tends to be reinforced by people like yourself. The autonomy of a woman is often dismissed by a more male-dominated society, which contradicts the concern and care that people claim to hold. I'm not sure if you actually ever experienced pregnancy, nor actually read into how pregnancy works (and not from those life centers, as they provide misinformation), but a fetus is part of the body, as long as it is connected to an umbilical cord, feeding off of you, which is more of a parasite than anything. Spare me the long, drawn out nonsense and crocodile tears. Your "concerns" are misguided.

A. Every woman should have rights to make a decision for herself, such decision should be trusted and respected. No one can make a decision for her as this is her body and health. Neither of us has rights to judge, neither of us is God and in no position to play such a role. B. There's a difference between science and belief. It is just pathetic to see so many people saying things without a fundamental knowledge of science. C. Any woman who has gone through an abortion is never an easy decision and journey. First, people who think men have no right to be involved in the abortion issue should be careful what they ask for. Polls consistently find that women oppose abortion at a higher rate than men, they are more opposed to government funding of abortion, more active in the pro-life movement, and are more likely to favor banning abortion outright. It is abundantly clear that if men were excluded, support for abortion would plummet.

If it does not ruin lives, it's fine. I'd like to point out that all of this bickering in the comments does nothing. This woman's choice did not directly effect you, so in reality, none of us should care. Everyone just needs to take a deep breath and go, "Fine, that's their life, not mine. @@elmoscotch6621 I’m going to have to disagree with certain parts of your argument I agree that abortion should be the mother’s choice when it’s a danger to her own life, however this is the only excuse and if it’s consensual then that abortion should be the mother’s only abortion. The first part I disagree with is “it’s okay if they’re under a certain age”. If they’re having sex when they can’t financially support a child it is ultimately their responsibility if the woman ends up pregnant. You should only have sex when you fully understand what might be the outcome of it and when your sure your able to care for a child (even if you not having sex to procreate). Financial aid can be received in numerous ways. There are plenty of people who would donate money for you to take care of the child and in some area it is unlawful for the father (or male reproductive counterpart, whichever you prefer) to not support the baby financially. Moreover, you can give them up for adoption, adoption agencies tend to be well kept and treat the children with care. The second one is that “it’s not up to you to judge them”. It is completely my right to judge and comment on what they are doing to literally the most innocent among us. It’s the exact same as saying I shouldn’t judge my neighbor for killing or abusing their dog in their backyard because it’s not my dog and not my backyard. Its simple what I’m doing, I’m telling them it’s a horrible choice when there’s numerous alternatives. I’m tired of people treating the horrific murder of children like it’s a civil right. You do not have the right to kill the human life inside of your body. You are not allowed to choose which human life lives and which gets murdered. I’m tired of the euphemisms, it is murder. The fact that anyone would support a cause that fully involves the yanking of a baby out of the womb crushing it’s skull, and chopping it into pieces because “It might be a burden on me” is despicable. So yes it is entirely my place to judge these murderers. But if you truly desire to continue supporting murderous acts, then go ahead it’s a free country.

@@angiepage5418 What determines when it's human? Heartbeat? What about the people living with an artificial heart and a pacemaker? Brain function? Fetuses have a slightly different brain function because they dont use all of their senses yet and dont move much. Its like a sleeping person. And newborns have lesser brain function than us as well. Having a brain? Brain begins to develop at mere 16 days after conception (1st paragraph in the text titled First trimester: www.whattoexpect.com/pregnancy/fetal-development/fetal-brain-nervous-system/ ). Brain is actually fully developed in 20 or 30 years after birth ( mentalhealthdaily.com/2015/02/18/at-what-age-is-the-brain-fully-developed/ ). If you don't agree, I think that it should be considered at least parcially developed when baby moves its limbs at the age of 8 weeks ( 3rd paragraph in the text titled First trimester: www.whattoexpect.com/pregnancy/fetal-development/fetal-brain-nervous-system/ ). If you say that before 6 weeks it's not human because it has not fully developed arms is a bad argument because there are people without arms. Without legs, even without hearths who live with a artificial hearths. Human is a living integrated cluster of cells filled with human DNA. Nothing more. And every of those clusters of cells is worth equal protection. Does every human have to have fully developed organs and body parts as adults do? Shouldn't we then kill children because they have no permanent teeth? Thus, they are not fully human? Just as the universe began with the Big bang that arose from almost nothing, human life arises from almost nothing - only one egg and one sperm. Every single one species on this planet came into being as a single cell who in most cases didn't resemble the final mature individual. It lasts from days to months and years to grow up and fully develop. Humans need approxinately 20 years to fully mature. They go through various development stages as fertilisation, embryonic development, fetal development, neonatal phase, infancy, toddler phase, early childhood, preadolescence and puberty until they finally reach adulthood. I'm not making this up. Development of the human organism both prenatal and postatal is on Wikipedia ( en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Development_of_the_human_body ). You can clearly see that every scientific article regards embryos and fetuses as humans who just aren't fully mature yet - just like children.

Miranda Elaine Your statistics may be right, I don't know your source, but that doesn't help the throwaway babies, toddlers, pre-teens, and teens in foul situations or in the foster care system. You mention 36 couples waiting for that perfect baby, but what about the one born to the hard-drug- addicted mother? That baby might not be so cute or healthy. In reality, this baby is a throwaway, and overlooked, like most. What about that baby with horrific medical issues? The one that's not so cute but it has needs and feelings and an emerging personality and potential. Babies with deformities, problems, addictions. Most abortions happen long before any of that occurs; the blastocyst or fetus is spared the fate of the foster care system or an abusive environment if it isn't good enough to be adopted as a cute, adorable infant. They are in demand. What about the left-overs?

So in a nutshell: all woman who want to have an abortion should have it and not put it up for adoption because some of those kids might be "defective" and it's too much burden to society because sick, deformed, disabled kids cost too much money and it's an inconvinience. So is better to kill them all rather give them an opportunity because life sucks and they WILL suffer.

He shouldn't have to stay OR pay child support if he didn't want it. I'm not supporting death, i'm supporting available choices, you can be pro-choice but still choose to have a baby, that's all pro-choice is, we support you no matter what choice you make and sometimes it's better this way too, some people NEED abortions, you know a woman died of sepsis because she was rejected for an abortion? people always talking about heart beat this, heart beat that, what about the actual person that it's all affecting? the woman? she has a heart beat too. they don't have to be forced into abortions, I never said that, i said they should be forced to sterilize someone when asked, it's not right to reject someone based on their own personal beliefs when the situation doesn't affect them at all. You act like getting sterilized is easy to get when in reality, people have to wait until they're 40 or 50 to even be considered for one while people in their 20's are rejected because "They might change their mind" people in their 20's are capable of knowing what they want, a doctor does not EVER EVER get to choose what someone wants. and as for the whole dad leaving thing? that's just a mistake that happens when people don't properly talk about kids before sex, this conversation has to happen before sex, like understand if they want a kid or not and make sure you're on the same page. not everyone just wants a child when in a relationship.

Curl up to keep warm; a thin, worn blanket. Mom & Daddy (child supposed to call him that) sounds like she is happy anyway but not because of the baby; crying sometimes creates a lot of pain, and there are so many unreported incidences of childhood broken bones.... and to endure all of this and more in the future which will happen, and worse...why would any thinking human being try to consent this torture of an innocent child?

I know this may sound a little considered, maybe even calculated, but perhaps she or her boyfriend should simply have considered the responsibility of using contraception before they both engaged in sexual intercourse. It would have spared her the inner angst, the moral confusion, via her termination of a ‘human life’, that of her child. I don’t believe she has no regrets, she will regret it for the rest of her life. There will be a deep inner homesickness for that aborted child. Many are constantly amazed at how the victimhood in this kind of narrative is shifted away form the terminated child, the real victim, to the person who made the decision to terminate that child’s life, to stop that heart from beating, because this new life was a mere inconvenience. It’s such a powerful moment when the craziness of the day has ran its course and it’s just my sound asleep son and I in bed. Every night I put my hand on his heart and thank God for giving me the most precious gift. I’m so grateful he knew what I needed when I couldn’t make sense of it all. Before I gave birth to my son, I was lost.. my heart was broken and selfish. When I first found out I was pregnant the first words out of my mouth were “no, this can not happen”. I couldn’t even support myself how was I going to support a child? I was the most scared I’ve ever been in my life, my life felt as if it was shattering. I remember being at my second appointment and the doctor couldn’t find the heartbeat. I still had not accepted that I was pregnant and my whole life was about to change. I was relieved. She went into the other room, grabbed a different monitor and though very faint, she said it was there. Night after night after night I’d cry in my room, in the shower, in the car.. I just couldn’t accept it. Right before going in to be induced I was scared, not to give birth but afraid that I wouldn’t be able to have a connection with my own child bc I was so detached throughout the whole pregnancy. That moment.. when the nurse handed him to me and laid him on my chest was THE BEST moment in my ENTIRE life. I never imagined a love this Devine, Unconditional or Deep existed. The one thing that holds me together is the thing I tried to resist the most..but God knew. He gave me the greatest gift, I could not ask for more. Yet, he still makes me promises of the future and with that I trust in him. If your'e scared right now because of an unexpected pregnancy, please know that although you didn't see it coming- the Lord did. And when the Lord moves he moves WITH PURPOSE! Trust him. #askmewhyjesusislife

Every baby should be wanted. Celebrated. Cherished. Read to, for years and years. Have both parents active and deeply interested in this person they created. Affordable Scouts, affordable Christmas, affordable clothes, affordable school. Every baby should be wanted and loved by grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins forever. Every baby should be clean, well fed, cuddled, held, rocked, and absolutely secure. Every baby should always have access to it's geneology and beginnings. Every baby should have the families support, care, and safety net, in case anything should happen. These things go far to make a child into a secure adult, with love always, always there. Every infant should come into this world with a solid family always there. An unwanted pregnancy can go either way. The news can be awesome and exhilarating, but when it's not..... when the news is very bad....people cannot always cope, which means introspective consideration for the fetus' future as well as the parents. Sure -- shoulda thought of that before, huh! Shoulda stopped! Shoulda been married! Shoulda woulda coulda But the fact is, this happens, in vast circumstances, from rape to religion to experimentation to passion to neglect......it just happens. Nature doesn't give a shit about the environment, Nature just wants us to reproduce and we are very good at that but the unstable segment of society always has it's roots in childhood and that can be very dark, but that can also be a mirror image of the end result of unwanted babies. Every baby should be wanted.

Even pro-choice advocates would refer to undesired born child as "baby", thus proving that it is not a matter of choice (since undesirable animals aren't called babies even after they are born). Finally, defining fetus as a baby only if it is willed would lead to strange consequences, since the person who would, without a will of the mother, destroy her baby would be guilty of murder, but if the fetus has no intrinsic value apart from mothers affection, the act of destroying it should be treated in the same way as the destruction of pet or an object to which person has some kind of affection. Here is the definition of baby that gives a clue to what I am saying. www.google.com/search?rlz=1C1GCEA_enUS795US795&ei=79abXImjBYGPjwSw8pfwDQ&q=baby+definition&oq=baby+def&gs_l=psy-ab.1.0.0i20i263i70i249j0l7j0i10j0.1329.1621..3966...0.0..0.74.262.4....3..0....1..gws-wiz.......0i71j35i39j0i67j0i20i263j0i131.z86BosV3fF4 Baby:treat (someone) as a baby; pamper or be overprotective toward. This is the verb version. Treating someone as a baby? It then explains that to be treated as a baby is to pamper or be overprotective towards. AKA, they want the kid. That's the distinction. It's what the term baby is used as almost universally. It's why we call pets babies. It's why we call plants babies. It's why we usually don't call mice crawling in our home babies, but pests(if we have a pet mouse then it is different), and if we have poison ivy in our backyard, burn it like the rest. The term baby doesn't refer to an unwanted organism. It's not how the term is used at all. That's why whenever someone refers to an unwanted organism I say you are wrong. "Even pro-choice advocates would refer to undesired born child as "baby", thus proving that it is not a matter of choice (since undesirable animals aren't called babies even after they are born). " 1st of all, I have heard only a handful of pro-choice advocates say the word baby and in the context it was a case of them not wanting to argue about definitions. In contrast I have heard a SHIT TON of pro choicer's arguing tooth and nail saying it was not a baby, and that it was only a potential baby(AKA when it was born it'd be a baby, going into the potential immediate guardian thing). 2nd of all, if you believe we can choose to want the fetus, then choice does count. This may get into a free will argument and such, but the actual determining factor is whether or not it is wanted by the guardian or a potential immediate guardian. Also you pointing out the undesirable animal basically proves my point again that you realise that if it is unwanted/undesired it would not be called a baby. "Finally, defining fetus as a baby only if it is willed would lead to strange consequences, since the person who would, without a will of the mother, destroy her baby would be guilty of murder, but if the fetus has no intrinsic value apart from mothers affection, the act of destroying it should be treated in the same way as the destruction of pet or an object to which person has some kind of affection." JEsus Christ. Were you really going for will in terms of free will? The entire definition is that it is a baby IF it is a young organism wanted by the guardian or a potential immediate guardian. Is it wanted(in these contexts)? Then it is a baby. If not, it isn't. I literally said that before. Try and keep up alright instead of strawmanning. 2nd of all, it would be treated even less than killing a pet because a pet may have a potential immediate guardian. "But destruction of a baby (fetus willed by mother, as you say) is always a murder, so your definition leads to contradictions..." Again, it has nothing to do with will. It has to with wanting the kid. It is considered murder because killing a fetus against the woman's will(as well as an infant against her will) is severely detrimental to society. This is due to the unborn victims of violence act 2004 giving a special instance where it would classified as such. IN any other context of where the woman does not want it, then abortion is 100% not murder according to law. Also it is not the destruction of a baby. It's the willfully termination of the baby against the woman's will. If it miscarries or stillbirths, there is no murder charge.

@Eithan S Not really. I’m just facing reality. I have been alive if 30 years and I already know that a lot of pro lifer don’t do that. That’s reality. Maybe you just being naive and not paying attention to the real world. It’s ironic how you called me ignorant.

@Eithan S Wow that’s childish. You’re just insulting me because don’t have anything to say. Just like a lot of pro-choicers, you’re an extremely hateful human being. At this point I feel sorry for you man.

Cognitive dissonance. You feel shame, because you know the truth about who and what the “bean” was.

operaknitter I’m pro life but damn....your comment is incredibly heartless. People like you are exactly why places like planned parenthood thrive....because they’ve convinced women they actually care about them, while pro lifers like you do nothing but shame and judge them.
