You are so brave. I'm so emotional too listening to you. I was raped by a total stranger in a bush. Almost died that night. I was so scared taking the HIV test and the clinic. The following HIV tests were just as scary. But thank God I tested negative. Iv never told anyone that. Your story gave me strength to write this.

Imagine being more afraid of being pregnant than HIV positive... wow. One lesson I have learned, parents who are too strict stop nothing from happening but, parents who talk and have open communication with their children, allow them to make better choices. My mom was very strict. I had both parents in my life, my dad wasn’t as strict. I still ended up pregnant at 15 years old. I had my baby. He’s a 22 year old man now and doing very well for himself. You’re so real, I really love that. God bless you and I pray you continue to have a long healthy life. ❤️

I firmly believe the lack of communication between mothers and their daughters leads to us making these types of decisions. Especially when religion dictates these unrealistic ideals that don't actually teach girls how to choose partners. You are very brave and strong for owning your truth. I know how hard it is to forgive yourself. I wish you the very best 😍

The thing is that she knew better although she was naive to think this guy was going to be her love. She compromise her values. Never do this. She put this relationship before God. We have commandments to follow for a reason. The Bible does give principles on how to choose a mate. Do not be unequally yoke. Put God first in everything. Seek out wisdom. We must always ask for the wisdom of God when considering someone for a significant other. God has warned me of several in the past, and it saved me from heartache and pain. She also was heavily influence by love novels and movies which have an influence on how women and men see relationships. My church discourages us from looking at movies and reading such novels. Research even talks about how movies and novels have an influence on young people in making them compromise their values. They are not based on reality. Satan tries to manipulate us through those movies and novels. It's clear she just wanted to be in love and have love, but she should have relied on God's guidance. I have made stupid mistakes too thinking I knew better than God. I make these points not to blame her because she already takes responsibility, but other young women and even men need to learn from this testimony to make sure they don't follow down the same path. God forgives us and that is why we serve an awesome God.

To the wait for marriage finger wagging crew It puzzles me why are we acting like the same thing couldn't happen in matrimony. Marriage is not a condom, HIV couples testing, a contraceptive or something that prevents/screens for STDs lets not be naïve .Some women have done "everything right" but find themselves in the same situation as Nozi . This is a great life lesson thanks for sharing candidly. This could have easily been my story and many girls too.

I don’t know you, have never heard about you and you just appeared on my feed when I searched about pregnancy, I have listened to your story, first , you’re such an orator! Marketing suits you. Two, you were meant to just share your story , because no one else can tell it better than you. You’re amazing, I love you so much, I wish I knew you in person , you’re divinely loved , purposed and destined. Your SOUL is healthy , pure and full of light, and your soul can never be infected with a virus nor pain, so keep evolving that soul because it’s taking you HOME, where you were always meant to be. To encourage others, to be a light 💡 bearer and an inspiration. I love you, God loves you more . Love from Nairobi 💖

Aww girl... Hugs to you. You are a beautiful and brave young woman who went through what we all go through, and that is to fall in love with a wrong man. There's a reason why the events in your life occurred. Thank you for sharing your story and using your pain to heal others. Someone out there may be going through the exact same thing and watching you speak and live so unapologetically may help save their life.

@@Okont actually it can be, because having butterflies in your stomach signifies nervousness and anxiety. People that you love and people that love you should not make you feel nervous and anxious, they should make you feel calm and comfortable. I appreciate the realness of your channel. Thank you for sharing your truth with us and trusting us. I had the same perspective on relationships at 21. Life revealed its true colours with time. We had a conversation around HIV with my colleagues two weeks ago. Despite us being Social workers, there's still stigma and fear around living with the virus. It's easier to counsel clients, but the anxiety of living with the virus is real. I referred them to your channel. You bring so much hope. I think I'm so ready that if I were to ever be diagnosed as HIV positive, I'd have sufficient coping mechanisms. Once again, thank you.
