12v pressure washer, especially if you ride in muddy and or dusty trails.

I wonder if it would be a good idea for another sxs that has space, to carry some water for the pressure washer? In the event we get caught like we did in Johnstown…just praying to find a puddle lol

I carry a mini rechargeable booster pack. Came in handy a few times. It has a built in flashlight and can charge my phone 3 times. Had to boost the quad during a winter camping trip. Saved my butt.

Piece of pipe about the length of your storage box that slides over your ratchet for extra leverage. One of those long bendable magnet fishes. There should be a list of tool sizes for your machine on the Canned ham forums. I carry absolutely everything for the xp1k . Probably cost about $220 at princess auto

When it comes to tools, you are the guy to listen to. Thank you for the tips man!

Quad lock is the best for my ‘17 commander. I bought it the same day I had my first ride. Was sick and tired in stopping every cross way to see if that’s the turn I needed to take. The commander ‘dry storage’ is good to put 2 Coleman party stackers in. Down side to them you can’t slide them out to access with its own drop down door. A few great things to bring are toilet paper and/or baby wipes. Never know when you’re going to stop and take a #2 or if your female passengers need to go in the bush for a pit stop.

Toilet paper is In the glovebox in a ziplock bag, with hand sanitizer

Thanks for the acknowledgement , even though we didnt know him until we arrived in WV because he was friends with others that joined us , its definitely a day we wont forget and goes to show that accidents happen when you least expect it .

I always bring a fire extinguisher, like someone previously commented. Also, I use one of the Rigid boxes to pack most of my gear in and it stays completely dry, even when power washing. Great video by the way.

Chest seal is more important than you think so many people get stuck by branches coming through the front or the door than people realize. Didn't see a tourniquet but carry one somewhere you can grab it asap not have to dig through a bag, and an Israeli bandage(olase). 👌 Great video
@CommanderOutdoors2 жыл бұрын
Thanks man, yeah I have a tourniquet in my kit that stays at home, but you’re absolutely right by saying that should be included in the kit. Thank you for pointing that out

I would recommend having the belt swap stuff for the commander. I used to have a small kit I had put together for on the fly switch would take me about 20 mins from start to end.the commander belt switch is a process but I honestly got the exact tools to get it done fast

Also a batter jump box run that and also a breaker bar for the lugs with a impact makes for quick work on the trail

Great vid man, it's one thing to think of everything it's completely another to remember it all!! LMAO 😎 I'll will agree with Gsr2011, have a PUNCTURE kit (and not for tires) Some of the vids I've seem of 2 "++ branches coming threw the floor, door or windshield are freaking scary!! One vid a branch came threw floor and opened up his unzipped jacket as it grazed his chest, YIKES!! So very sad to hear of the lose in our riding community, my deepest condolences go-to Don his friends and all their families! 😇
@CommanderOutdoors2 жыл бұрын
Yeah man when you ride long enough your bound to see some knarly stuff. Just wanna be as prepared as I can be. I will be taking Gsr2011’s advice and adding a few things to bolster even more. I will say this though, I doubt anyone else in my riding group has as robust a med kit in their machine.
@geoffreyneish79992 жыл бұрын
@@CommanderOutdoors I guess you can only be so prepared thinking of Don and his friend! Given where we ride ( the more remote the better) I should have a GPS tracking linked to Emergency services, like the Watch Richard used in Top Gear in Canadian Rockies, or the new phone that sends an automatic distress call and your location when it's been "severely distressed " in some way?!?!? We do alot of riding on own, so having the piece of mind for both of us seems like a good idea!! 👍😎

What are your thoughts about 2 inch bracket lift with stock axles on a commander? I've seen it both ways in the forums.
@CommanderOutdoors2 жыл бұрын
When I first put my lift on, I ran with stock axles for about 6 months and had no problems, then I switched to the Demons and they are longer than stocks and I’ve yet to have any problems either

Maybe look into a inreach specially if taking people out on trips.

Already on the list
@bobby98992 жыл бұрын
A bit of a pain paying every month but worth it. Plus since the inreach mini 2 came you can get good deals on the original.
@Gsr20112 жыл бұрын
Stay away from Spot.. They are absolutely garbage. I do recovery of people who push these ;). We have zero problem with inreach they are the best and will get us exactly where they are.. Zoleo is also good.. Spot we have had times where the lat long is no where close or their spot went off for no reason while they weren't near it.
