Hey everyone,
As promised, I said I would make a video when I start to come off of fentanyl and start the withdrawal process. I’m absolutely terrified as you can see from this video. I knew the day would come but now it’s here part of me really doesn’t want to let it go. I’m confident I can do it, so wish me luck 🍀
Thank you so, so much for watching! It means more than you know 💕💕

You can do this, I know you can! Acknowledging is the first step to making a change in your life. A lot of times people want to cover up the pain they have experienced and it from what I was reading is highly addictive with horrible side effects with withdrawal. You will get through this and talking about your story on here is an amazing acknowledgment to what you have gone through. Don’t give up and understand that they are putting all kinds of deadly chemicals in that stuff, so much it is killing people and you deserve a better life than that.

Just ran across this video. Probably because I too deal with addiction. I have been on suboxone for many years. I got off everything else and even got down to half a strip a day but I just can't get off. I get so sick and then eventually relapse. I am sending you so much love and light. From one stranger friend to another. ❤

I commend your bravery. Shocking that someone so attractive, intelligent and coherent could struggle against this poison. You're strong enough to beat this. Just like you did without trying as a happy kid. You can take your mind & heart back to that strong, carefree and confident time of your life when drugs simply didn't exist. You're beautiful and strong. Please keep us advised of how you're doing, friend!

You aren't in this alone! I'm on it as well but getting it off the street. I'm ready to get my life back and I had bags packed and dad arrived to take me to rehab on this past Wednesday... well here I am, obviously couldn't make it. But I'm sure I will get myself to go in by the end of this month that's my commitment to myself so we shall see. Love love love these videos and you for putting yourself out there I know it's so much bigger than it appears to the rest of the world. Addiction is the strangest most awful thing in the world but we will be on the winning side soon enough I know it!! Keeping you in my thoughts, wishing the best to you and sending you strength 💪 ❤ 💙 💛

Hi Amie, I was on 150mcg/hr of fentanyl patches for 2.5 years. I was also taking oxycodone on top for breakthrough pain. I decided to come off it and weaned down by 12.5mcg/hr every 2 weeks. It was absolutely brutal but I got all the way down to 6mcg/hr (half a 12mcg/hr patch). On the 8th January 2023 I went cold turkey and it was horrendous but I stuck with it. I have now reached 4 months and I made it. If you want any advice or want to talk to someone who has been through exactly what you’re going through let me know. James

Hi! It’s a struggle tbh! I’ve gone from feeling HORRIFIC, all the horrible feelings of withdrawing coupled with the pain which is like no other and also feeling anxious about what’s to come and when or if this gets easier (as I know I need to reduce again another 3-4 times). But then I get stages of where I feel like it’s getting easier and then more recently I’ve been struggling so bad and it’s affecting my mental health because I just feel like it’s never going to improve. I honestly didn’t think it would last this long before I got used to the reduced dose but here we are 🤷🏻‍♀️ thank you so much for asking! Ohh wow, how are you finding it? If you're going to get off of fentynal I suggest the vitamin c protocol get started with that for one week talk to an addiction therapist and use suboxon or subtext to wheen of off it for the further 2 weeks then taper off the suboxon or whatever treatment drug you decide on just know that if you choose methadone it has a longer shelf life in your system and the withdrawal from it will be a nightmare.

Good luck I know how you feel. They put me on methadone when I was in prison and was getting reduced with no problem. But then I got told one day that I’m out 2moro on a tag. So I had to go to one of these drug places to get my script. I hated going there so I just did my cluck. After 5 days I started slowly getting better and after 2-3 weeks was back firing on all cylinders again. I feel so much better for it I have so much more energy and my mental health has improved no end. Honestly the thought of it is worse than just doing it if you can make it past day 4 you almost there. Trust me if I can do it anyone can do it I was on heroin for 15 years. I wish you all the best and if you need someone to talk you through it just comment.

@@amieelizaa Sounds like you might actually need it though if it’s for pain. You’ve just got to treat it like a medication. There is a guy that I know that lives near me. He was in a car accident and was given tramadol and the doctors took him off it and he was still in pain. The doctors just told him to take paracetamol which didn’t work. Now he’s on heroin he’s in his 50’s or 60’s he looks like my dad. This guy is just a normal middle class guy so I would be careful. Thank you for your kind message, yes it was a horrible few days. But even after 5 days when I started feeling better I was just depleted of energy and I didn’t sleep for 5 days straight. Then I would only have like 40 mins here and there. It took over 3 weeks before I got back into a normal sleeping pattern. It did feel so nice though after my first night of proper sleep I had my energy back and everything but still felt a bit rough from not sleeping, that took a couple of days to overcome. I wish you all the best and your in my thoughts and prayers. Like I said if you need someone to talk to that’s been there and understands your situation then you only have to ask there is no shame in asking for help and advice. If you don’t want to talk on here where everyone can see it let me know and I’ll give you my Facebook details. Hope you’ve had a great jubilee weekend.

There are so many tools to help you. Music from Miten or Santa Kaur. Going to spiritual places where you can chant and dance for hours.. then build into the yoga exercise that works for and then the meditation process. Your time and habits should be replaced by positive habits and eliminate people with anxiety, criticism, negative habits and abuse.. for like a year, until they don’t faze you. I know because I had an auto accident that hurt my 5th lumbar area. I wasn’t insured. After a few years of pain, then about 2 years of less pain with self-realization exercise yoga, I eventually found a state of zero pain. I can’t help but share that there are natural solutions. Qui Gong has helped others that I know.

It depends! At first, it made me feel awful (sick all the time, really dizzy, passing out constantly etc.) but as I got used to it because it helped with my pain, it started to make me feel good. I look forward to the day I change my patches because the day before I start to withdraw and feel really ill and also my pain gets much worse. But of course that’s because I’m addicted! I still sometimes get some of the feelings I did at the start when I first change my patch but they’re much less strong, I’m not usually physically sick anymore. I was also used to taking opiates as I had been on morphine for a long time before so my experience was very different to I imagine a lot of peoples, I was used to a level of opiates. It’s now a case of taking it to help with my pain and so I don’t withdraw, not because I get much of a good feeling from it, if that makes sense?
