I am a 2021 Btech civil grad 7.47 CGPA & 2023 M. Tech in Geotech 7.93 CGPA grad now I am willing to do MS in Construction Project Management I don’t have GRE score, I have 3 internship experience and 2 research project papers but not in SCI journals, NO Full time experience, I am thinking of getting in top 250 uni, what ranking of uni takes GRE compulsory for this course, any suggestions you want to give I’ll be thankful like I have interest in Data Analyst too but don’t have experience in it can I pursue masters in this course? or should I stick with my field only

I didn't do any Internships , neither do I have any experience in tech, although I am placed in cognizant and have a GPA of 8.33 , should I be worried about work experience thing for getting accepted? What is the percentage of Experience that they take into consideration for INTAKE? CAN you please help me Out

you can get accepted based on projects and other co curricular work but i would say get some experience thats would play to your advantage

i would day obviously good academics play a role but getting into really good colleges projects and research papers ,just show what u learned and did on a technical and management stuff.this can do the job for your extracurricular and you can storytell just dont write anything unbelievable.

I have a query You got an admit from UTD in December so Is there any deadline in which you need to accept the admit and giva a fee. Bcz you got the decision from NEU in March so how did you handle that situation? Is that fee refundable which you give for locking the seat?

no u can accept and keep at utd but for neu there is deadline u have to pay a deposit of 100$ for college of engineering.

Bro i had 13 backlogs and 2.66/4.00 gpa. Although i have 5 yrs experience in 3 companies as data analyst and automation tester. I also published international research paper and have many extracurricular activities and awards. I am applying for MIS course. Bt my counceller saying that i wont get any b or c level college cuz i have weak gpa. In gre also i got less 299. Actually i am weak in giving exams and especially in dsa, algorithm. Bt in interview and practical work I do great. My counceller saying go for mba as for masters it requires good academics not experience.

i would say get your hands on a stem designated mba then ,you can apply for ms at some colleges which are not top tier just manage it in your sop divert attention on your work dont mention your gpa too much overall work should be done to highlight whats great in you but after all that they need someone good in acadmics as there also you have to give exams and score.

@@hustlescene problem of mba is it is too costly. And by looking at my academics no one will give me scholarships. Even GMAT is more difficult than gre. More than that if I didn't get job there(due to recession and bad job market in us) then it's a big debt for me. I have savings of 15 lac. So I am thinking about 20-25 lac low tier usa university including i20 charges. As even I didn't get job in usa atleast I will get visa for usa. And becuz of usa visa then maybe I look for other countries for jobs.

@@hustlescene didnt get. Waiting time is too high. Nor I am seeing anyone getting. All american companies now giving remote jobs to their Asian employees with 80 lac to 1 cr salary. So soon H1B jobs for IT role will be reduced maybe extinct due to remote jobs. Although H1B is mostly for dev roles. I am not dev. And in foreign company u get on-site roles when u are old employee of that company. I don't want to go to us after 40s.
