The DOT procedure addresses the sign of aging and sun damage well. Things such as wrinkles, fine lines, discoloration, brown spots, textural issues, scars, acne, pores, and generally rejuvenates the skin by stimulating the production of more collagen. Around the eyes and mouth are very common areas where these problems occur. But this is often performed over the entire face and often in the neck and décolleté. The first 6 days are messy with all of the ointment. While it doesn’t hurt, it also doesn’t look very good until this time. This is the “gold standard” treatment for skin rejuvenation. Dr. Jon Mendelsohn, an excellent double board-certified facial plastic surgeon with expertise in Aging Face Surgery, performed all the treatments. His main office is in Cincinnati, Ohio. Young people are already touching their faces in their twenties and it is heartbreaking to see. The psychiatric units are filled with young people not feeling enough or harming themselves because they don’t look like the ridiculous standards set by the beauty industry, social media and marketing. Thank you for the clarifying question. There are so many names we use to describe Facelifting and it’s easy to be confused. The SMAS is always addressed, and not always “high” and various ligaments may or may not be released as needed. Some definitions of facelift techniques would consider a sub-SMAS dissection and release of various facial ligaments to be “deep plane” While the technique is certainly important, “one size doesn’t fit all.” While the “steps” are similar, the exact maneuvers do vary from one person to another based on their needs, anatomy, and goals. I hope this somewhat answers your question.

I think the not more vertical approach in the deep planes just doesnt look as good. No misunderstanding she looks gorgeous probably super happy but when u see the dpf´s with a more vertical approach the eye and forehead area seem to be more connected instead of the look of just pulling the cheeks to the side. The dot treatment (where I live) are tiny dots made by a plasma laser every mm to damage the skin which in turn causes collagen and elastin stimulation. They are supposed to be done with some anaesthetic. It really does tighten the skin around the eyes! I should say, I am 52 and look younger than this woman. I’ve never had work done but I live clean. I don’t drink or smoke or spend time in the sun. I eat berries every morning, afternoon and night. I exercise and get tons of sleep too! This is the foundation and secret to beautiful skin.

Excellent work. Great results. I judge a surgeon’s skill by where he places the incisions, how they look before and post op and the position of the ears before and after, as well as the sharpness/angle of the neck and jawline; some surgeons are conservative and the result never quite makes the mark. Many a time, I note that the position of the ears are not where they were prior to the surgery. The ‘pixie effect’ varies from mild, moderate to unacceptable. I appreciate that there are many variables involved that are beyond the surgeon’s control. When it comes to choosing a surgeon, what matters in the end is experience and consistency of the results over time. I wish the after pictures taken by surgeons were more honest. It would be nice to see the after photos taken with the ears exposed and without makeup, in the same lighting and position as before surgery and un-photoshopped. Indeed, the positioning of the incision and the technique used for closure play a crucial role in maintaining a natural ear lobule position and avoiding a pixie ear result. Achieving a result that goes unnoticed, even by seasoned hair stylists, involves careful consideration of several important factors. While we take great pride in our work and the outcomes we achieve, it's true that some incisions may become hypertrophic or thickened, potentially distorting the ear lobe. In such cases, a simple injection with Kenalog (a steroid) often resolves the issue. In rarer instances, a small incision and scar correction may be necessary. The good news is that, despite its rarity, if this issue arises, it is fixable. It's evident that you've done thorough research, and we genuinely appreciate your valuable comments.
