The reality is that mental illness touches all of our lives in some
capacity, be it self, loved ones, co-workers or friends. The only way that
it becomes less of a shameful subject is by sharing our stories, being
open to opportunities for wellness and drawing
on our inner strength, even when it feels like we
have nothing left.
Thanks to my friends from Sources of Knowledge, I agreed to share some of my story and
was reminded that being open about mental illness, can be life
giving for one’s self and others. I hope you find this helpful.
