34:04 I'm thinking Ivo's escape was planned by Lex so he could endear himself to Waller by saving her life. Why else would he bring a device to disable the Parasite suit to Task Force X's base unless he knew in advance he'd have to use it? Not to mention he emerges from the same corridor where Ivo emerged from, meaning he had to have seen Ivo rather than simply running into him by coincidence. However, rather than disable the Parasite suit immediately, he WAITS until Ivo is right about to maul Waller (and lets Ivo attack that poor guard in the process), likely so his intervention would make more of an impact on her. Plus, Ivo is in no mental condition to plan an escape on his own, and the camera feed of his cell Clark & Lois see makes it clear brute force wouldn't be enough. The escape itself also happens too late for the structural damage caused by Atomic Skull to be a contributing factor.

I definitely enjoyed the first 2 episodes of season 2. Considering that it's Valentines Day, a few months have passed since the events of the season 1 finale. Clark had a nice Valentines Day plan for him and Lois, only for everyone to shoot it down. I'm also convinced that the Hank who is a friend of Lois in this series is Hank Henshaw, the man who becomes Cyborg Superman, an enemy of Superman. Speaking of enemies of Superman, it's ironic that the Lex Luthor of this series is inspired to his villainous path by Superman's best friend Jimmy. I also think that Jimmy is spending too much of his money and will become broke if he isn't careful. His work on Flamebird seems to be causing him to be distant from Clark and Lois. I found it hilarious that Perry gave Jimmy interns to work with, and Jimmy complained about the interns not listening to him. It's nice to see Clark finally get some answers from Jor-El. The kryptonians brought about their own destruction as usual, only this time it's due to them being conquerors and facing an enemy they couldn't beat. It's implied that the enemy that the kryptonians faced was Darkseid, but we'll have to wait to be certain. Jor-El even explained that he could translated Krypton's language to Earth language if Clark hadn't buried the ship and not gone back to the ship for 10 years. A mistake on Clark's part. I enjoyed the family dynamic between Clark and Jor-El this time around, which only made their parting all the more sad. I'm glad that Clark has a variation of his fortress of solitude. However, at least Clark finally knows that most of the kryptonians are gone, with him and his cousin Kara being the last of their generation. Now Clark has to find his cousin, while still being unaware of Brainiac and the kryptonian warrior who is possibly Zod. To make things even more complicated is the situation with Sam Lane and Amanda Waller. Clark has to help Lois find and rescue her father Sam, while Amanda Waller shows her true colors as a clear villain who thinks she's on the right side of things. It also doesn't help that Lex Luthor is now joining Amanda Waller. I honestly can't wait to see more from this season.

This is a good show because it portrays the more human aspect of superman and it's more sensible and realistic like Jor El couldn't speak English at first and that Clark is still figuring out which makes the plot so good by building up suspense

Info and foreshadows. - Lois contact at Star labs hank is hank henshaw aka cyborg Superman, one of Superman major villains for obvious reasons. - the buy thay turns big is Damage which i think this is the character first time outside of comics. Vastly looks nothing like his classic and newer look besides the red dots around his shoulder joints. - the kid Lois and Clark met he goes by name of Billy, which in comics Billy Batson is Shazam. We don’t know if this is actually hinting of billy but besides the name common comic trope is matching colors. Billy inner T-shirt is red which the character always have a red shirt, jacket or similar on him to match his superhero colors. - villain in this is Atomic Skull which is a character fans havnt seen in s long time. I think the last time ppl saw him was in the animated movie Superman vs the elite.

it's gonna be interesting seeing how they handle Kara for this because most modern adaptations give her the post-crisis backstory of having been born on Krypton and being a teenager when the planet was destroyed and she was sent to Earth, and it takes her longer which is why she's still a teenager when she arrives on Earth and is now younger than her baby cousin. but pre-crisis Kara was actually born *after* Kal and after Krypton was destroyed, she grew up in Argo City before its defenses fell and she was sent to Earth for Kal to look after, which doesn't appear to be what they're doing here either. in the DCAU Supergirl wasn't Kryptonian (because initially post-crisis there was a bizarre mandate that Superman be the /last/ Kryptonian for a long time) but her origin was very similar to pre-crisis Kara's Kara being the same age as Kal at Krypton's destruction but being younger (though still older than Supergirl typically is, being a young woman instead of a teenager) when the two finally meet (due to being put in a slower spaceship that didn't have the same kind of stasis function, so she was essentially raised in a simulation by the ship's AI) is the backstory of pre-crisis Earth-Two version of Kara, who was never Supergirl and went by Power Girl (and is in fact /still/ Power Girl, as she was one of the survivors of the Crisis event rebooting the multiverse). now it's unlikely they're going that route with this version of Kara and it might be some spin on the Argo City plot but it's interesting to see that they're borrowing from other versions of the character and not just trotting out the same "teenage Kara was sent to Earth to protect baby Kal" plotline again

So a few things to bring up in about the two part opening: 1. The staff behind the show have outright said that Alex was NOT suppose to be Lex in the original plan of the show. The higher up's made a hard mandate that Lex couldn't appear in the show until at least season 3, probably because they wanted to get people more familiar with Superman's actual rogue's gallery. So someone on staff did a bit of a sneaky thing with Alex, who is one of the people who has been the Parasite over the decades of comics, but also sounds a lot like lex vaguely. The higher up's went to speak to them once Alex was introduced in the show asking to the effect of "is that Lex?" To which they responded, "It could be if you want him to be" and they gave the thumb's up to making him be Lex in season 2. Funny how things work out sometimes. 2. As for who destroyed him, best guess I would have is it could be Brainiac, but that seems a bit unlikely given that Jorel doesn't seem to speak negatively of the system in any real way. My personal guess would be that it could have been the new gods. People who are known for being peaceful, but could be forced into war by outside forces. Heck it would be a good setup to kind of treat the idea that they accidently created Dark Side and set him on his path to end the universe as we know it. Maybe even bring up the whole old lore(I don't know if its still cannon or not) that technically dark side's "Physical" form is actually in a completely different dimension after an experiment to make him stronger went somewhat wrong, and that the stony form we see of him is a literal golem he controls remotely, and nobody seems to be able to really figure that out. 3. While of course it isn't known yet for certain, the person in the suit that seems to be out destroying and conquering seemingly was revealed by accident already. When the episodes were airing on television, they show a small clip of the show in the lead in before going to commercials. Nothing more then 5 seconds or so. But it seems for the first episode's break, they messed up a little and showed a clip for a much later episode, if not the season finale. And in those five seconds they gave a 99% certainty of who's in the suit without question. So that's probably now floating somewhere in the internet.

It's not because of the league, Clark and Lois thought Kryptonians were evil aliens who tried to invade Earth. It's only now that Clark learned the truth and he hasn't been able to tell Lois yet.
