Ironically, if the Waller types ever really got their way, Earth'd be screwed. The only reason their plans to take down the heroes get as far as they do is because the heroes don't just rip their heads off or zap them to the phantom zone...because they're, y'know, heroes. Her schemes wouldn't amount to much against Darkseid and the forces of Apocolypse, Zod and the phantom zone villains, the Mongul dynasty and forces of Warworld, Gog and his Magogs, Perpetua and her kids, Nekron, Neron, Blaze, Satanus, Asmodel, Doomsday, Brainiac, Synarr, Lady Styx, X'haal, the Dominator lead alien alliance, Krona, The Manhunters, Sinestro and his Yellow Lantern Corps, The Red Lantern Corps, Solaris the Tyrant Sun, Cannibal Planet, The Word Bringer, Starbreaker, Sun Eaters, Despero, Agamemno, Meggedon, the spinal fluid sucking Parasites and their Taker, Rift, Star Czar, Parallax, The Predator, Queen Bee, Virox, Malvolio, Black Adam, Reverse Flash, Vandal Savage, Effigy, Bizarro World, Mxy and other 5th dimensional imps, hostile Olympian gods, The Upside Down Man, Hecate, Circe, Morganne La Fey, Desire and Despair, Starro, Epoch the Lord of Time, The Lords of Order and Chaos, Trigon, Cyborg Superman, Superboy Prime, Maaldor, Mordru, Mr Nobody, The Chronovore, Ultraman and the Crime Syndicate, Imperiex, Dominous, The Millennium Giants...any of the more cosmic threats in the DCU.

This episode, while not as good as the previous, is a good episode. Superman isn't even in this episode beyond his image being used and him being mentioned. Of course, Amanda Waller takes advantage of the situation to tarnish Superman's good name and use her human defense Corp to take over Metropolis. As if I needed more of a reason to hate Amanda Waller. Fortunately, I don't think that the people of Metropolis buy her propaganda against Superman. Unfortunately, when someone tries to discredit her claim, Amanda dismissed it and silenced those who disagree with her. Lois is obviously still dealing with the break-up that she caused. She's determined to do whatever it takes to make things right with Clark, even if it means teaming up with Livewire to steal a spaceship from S.T.A.R labs. Of course, Jimmy has to be the one to pay her. I was bit surprised that he used up all of his remaining money to hire Livewire, but it shows what he's willing to do for his best friend. You even see that Jimmy does live by what Superman stands for. It's both surprising and unsurprising that Livewire and Heat Wave are a couple. Nice to see Mallah and the Brain return to help. It is such a shame that all the planning doesn't go according to plan. The part I didn't like but is still good for Lois' character development is how she feels about Kara. Lois just is angry at Kara to the point that she's willing to use kryptonite against her. If only she knew that Clark and Kara bonded. Jimmy was right about the situation with Kara not being so simple, and it makes sense since he actually spent time to get to know her. Lois doesn't really know anything about Kara, and Jimmy called Lois out on behaving just like Sam did with Superman. Lois just saw Kara as the enemy without really knowing her, just like Sam did with Superman during season 1. Interestingly enough, just as Sam was willing to at least try to see Superman's humanity, Lois was willing to at least try to give Kara a chance, even if it takes some convincing from Jimmy. It's understandable why Lois is just lashing out at Kara when she's still hurting from her last conversation with Clark, but we the audience know that Clark wouldn't be happy if Lois used kryptonite against his cousin. It's also weird to see Livewire give Lois love advice, but Livewire and Heat Wave make a nice couple. Apparently she overhead what Lois said and seems to know about Lois having feelings for Superman. Hopefully, Livewire didn't hear the parts about Clark. The tension of this episode is lessened because we know Lois, Jimmy, Mallah, and the Brain make it into space, but it's still nice to see how they got there. We also see more of Deathstroke's rivalry with not only Livewire, but with Lex Luthor. Amanda Waller seems to be favoring Lex over Slade. Now Lois is aware of Jimmy having feelings for Kara, and the episode ends the same way as the previous one, with Lois and Jimmy finding Kara. I really hope that they can put aside their differences to save Superman.

I strongly disagree that the My Adventures with Superman version of Waller is peak Waller, when you take a step back, she might be the most inefficient and incapable version of the character this side of the DCEU: every action she has undertaken so far has only left Task Force X more exposed and worse off. The only victory she can claim is recruiting Lex Luthor (the only member of Task Force X worth a damn), and he came to her, not the other way around. And given that he built the Parasite suit, Task Force X's only victory on Superman is one Lex handed to them in a roundabout way. 😂 Can't wait for things to blow up in her face. 😂

Theories: -The greaser-looking guy who worked with Heat Wave and Livewire is Rudy Jones and he's gonna start using the Parasite Armour they stole for robberies. -The Head of Checkmate in this continuity is Niles Caulder, to play off of Mallah and The Brain being good guys here.

And I know Heat Wave is usually a man, but this isn't the first time either DC or Marvel have changed things up like this and it likely won't be the last 🤔. Not many Easter eggs in this episode, cute reference to the Silver Age of Comics and a more traditional Mallah from an alternate universe, which I know was done to explain that our Mallah and Brain in the show are the oddities in the multiverse since the others are like their comic counterparts: completely evil. The Dalek style cartoon Brain was amusing , but I doubt that people could save themselves from him by going up stairs XD.
