I dont even remember any match where Indian Team was on the verge of defeat and he pulled back the match to give India victory being technical and scoring centuries in sena is a different thing, he cant just hide behind a few good knocks , LAck of consistency & responsibility,he is playing since 2014 almost 9 years atleast for the country, i hardly remember any one getting so many chances like he does!!when there were talks about him he could have proved everyone wrong, but he did not, 2021 T20WC, 2022 T20 WC & the asia cup, KL Rahul & the art of playing maiden overs in T20 Cricket is a never ending love story!!

He might be a good player, but some players are doing much better than him without proper chances, and KL wasting his chances consistently is a slap to them and equal opportunities. Just because you are TECHNICALLY BRILLIANT according to Sunil here, does not mean infinite opportunities with no result. You either perform, have a few bad ones (always happens, should be overlooked), and cement your place or Be like KL: Get LOTS of chances, waste em, and perform sporadically a couple of times, failing most of the time.

@@shourya2408 yeah but kohli was scoring 50s and 60s consistently between 2020-21 after that he got out in some matches early but then started making 50s but KL has underperformed in every opportunity he got and playing the 1st over maiden in T20i's which potentially lead to less number of balls and the team cannot register a respectable score. So, i would rather try ruturaj instead of KL for the upcoming wc. And due to rishabh's absence and shreyas's injury and sky's bad performance in ODIs ajinkya rahane is a strong replacement for India.

I think Problem with Rahul is intent… what is role of Rahul in t-20 Team ?? At the moment Gill, Ruturaj, Jaiswal are way better options than KL for Opening Slot. Kisi ke baap ki ni hai Indian Cricket....... Jo accha khelega wo team India se bhi khelega......... KL only fit for ODI Cricket.

In the previous innings, India were bundled out for 75 with Patrick Patterson taking 5 wickets for 24 off about 8 overs. He was knocking over someone every 10 balls he bowled. According to reports/articles (available on the internet) , he got the raw end of the stick and lost his place as a selector after selecting Virat Kohli Sir in the Indian Team. Dilip Vengsarkar Sir was selected for the Indian team after he hit a century for Bombay which included 10 well-timed sixes. Imagine someone hitting 10 sixes in a match in the early 80's. An Aries can understand and help an Aries. In a cricketer vs movie stars match K L Rahul Sir conceded a goal from a mis-pass. He was probably given a mouthful (of Ben Stokes etc. etc.) by the Captain and he bounced back (K L Rahul Sir) scored a goal. Maybe, the Aries man subconsciously lets the pressure build on him as he performs well under pressure.The only one who can solve an Aries' problem is another Aries. An ex-Australian cricketer saw it as a "RED FLAG" (according to media reports). It resulted in an amazing turnaround.

I am here with my humble suggestion after kl Rahul sir's 97 not against Australia in the world cup 2023 opener. The hero worship has started. It's a dangerous thing unless it's handled with the greatest care. The only bad part was his disappointment about not getting the hundred. If he keeps winning matches this way rather than worrying about a hundred, kl Rahul sir will be the all time greatest. His technique is Godlike. However, if those absolute picture perfect shots (more power at the same bodyweight) would enable him to improvise, hit sixes with shorter than his usual backlift, make him very very very difficult, unpredictable,, an absolute nightmare for bowlers in the death overs while chasing.....A high voltage finisher in addition to being a class player. (Something like MS Dhoni Sir but version 3.0). Westside Barbell trains speed reps on one day with 40 to 50 percent of their working weight. On the next day they lift heavy. Their gym is full of people who squat and deadlift over 1000 lbs, bench over 700 lbs. I am not suggesting any cricketer try to lift heavy but progressively heavier while tweaking the diet to keep the bodyweight the same. More importantly, Paul Anderson. Is the hero of Louie Simmons, the founder of Westside Barbell. Paul Anderson reportedly said that "He wouldn't survive a day without his faith (in God). My humble observation. I don't know much but I can say definitely K L is one of the few batsmen who can play in any format in any conditions at any no and also can keep the wk and a great fielder. But there is difference in "one can" & "one does". U will see when ever people raise questions he somehow performs extra ordinary that too in tough conditions but then again flop. So, I feel he is still not taking responsibilities and still under the shaddow of Rohit Virat. Yes, Anna is right k l is very humble soft spoken person. But he needs to be ruthless and fearless sometimes like Virat. And no one teach him that he himself has to take responsibilities. It's high time.
