Imagine being a collector when 151 came out. That was an amazing time… limited scalpers good prices and amazing pull rates, something happened and it got downstream. Similar to what happens when investors get wind of some inside information before the retail investor eg the average collector. This is where we fall back on common sense, this is a good time to move some of your bulk cards to ramp up for the next down wave when you can buy at retail and below BE SMART DONT FICE AWAY YOUR MONEY TO SCAMMERS WE CANNOT FORCE YOU TO USE COMMON SENSE

@@phillips.collectibles I read that book years ago and the one thing that really stood out was how people perceive even and odd numbers. So I started to adapt my increased invoices using that logic and it nets you a decent amount for very little effort and almost zero pushback from clients (literally had one out of 70ish clients actually mention it, but they still paid). Keep the books coming, a lot of people can learn valuable things from them.

I disagree on this take. A momentum just shifted towards pokemon. It won't slow down. It's multiplying by 100's. Downturn will be after a few years. Talk about TM coming out yet alone 30th anniversary and youtubers also opening packs. It's okay let it be an expensive hobby

You get all these dynamics and you'll have a few years of hype. I started collecting 151 in September of last year and had it mastered by the end of October. Didn't pay for anything over msrp, just had to be patient and found product, mostly poster collections. Prismatic is no different. Have about 70% of the master set complete and pulled 6 different sir's and all but 1 full set trainer. Nothing was purchased over msrp. If you can't find it now, you can find it later. Patience is y😅😮r best weapon to combat the current market
