Braden McHenry and he also would’ve been spending a lot of money on replacing front splitters. And just because it popped doesn’t mean it’s the bags fault. The bag popping was pure install error. He should’ve checked for anything that could run the bag and pop it.

thing is i seen the other day saying quote " You got to be stupid if you think bags are bad " VW , CITROEN , FORD some have used bag suspension settups for years im not saying this is a bad way forward no way! , i love the fact of suspension raising and lowering but if a bag risks blowing up and im holiday 500miles away id have a massive bill to pay for a recovery when you can rely and have a stance settup without the fear of it blowing to 0 psi .... Let me just say i do love the bag look and everyone to there own opinion i am not saying its a bad way to go just practically in my eyes i dont see it being safe to spend that sort of money on a settup that can have similar repercussions.

I don't know if the brz have this feature but almost all the newer cars have it, by holding the lock button for like 10sec the windows roll up while outside the veichle, also works the opposite when pressing the unlock button :)

Pro tip for rolling windows up in newer and Asian cars. Put the key in the door lock, lock it and then do it and hold. It will roll up.

Serenespeed I have a lot of experience with both bags and coils, and will pick bags over coils 9 times out of ten. Only time I would pick coils is if I couldn’t afford bags. Otherwise, I’m picking bags.

No of course they are not, anyone with even the slightest track experience, (who doesnt work for an air ride company) will tell you this. If you you say air performs the same as hydraulics in any pit lane during a track day race, the mechanics will piss their pants laughing. "yeah but they did a hot lap test and they set an even better time on air than on coil overs" congratulations. Now test it during a whole season of endurance races. Air simply isnt good for the extreme differences in temp and forces as hydraulics are, it's basic elementary physics. And no marketing test can change the laws of nature. Doesnt mean air can be fine for daily road use, but tj makes it out that everyone who disagrees that air performs the same are idiots who live in the past.

Cut the fenders on the trailer then hinge them like a uhaul car hauler thats what i did for my trailers. It works great just fold the fender away drive up, open your door then fold the fender back up

I drive a 2200 lbs car, Google tells me Air suspension would add 100-150 lbs. That's a deal breaker and something I can't see they can ever change as long as it needs a tank, pump and extra components.

I know the gt86 here in Australia If you hold lock on your remote the windows will go up automatically. My big concern is towing your car with the big wing still on. Im sure everyone has seen the video of the blue 86/brz with the huge wing that caused the tow car and trailer to jack knife and eventually flip.

I get the convenience and drivability aspect of coils. I really do. Plus if your thing is stance they work better than anything else. But I am still waiting to see the system dynamic study that shows air in an expandable bag with highly variable properties is more reliable and precise than a well engineered coil spring. Considering that coil springs are still used in everything having to do with high performance applications, i am not convinced. Even rocket engines use coil spring technology over bags for very good reason. That said, I am interested in seeing it. Maybe TJ can setup a cosponcered video with an air suspension company or a precision Spring company (or both) to have someone explain the finer details between the two. Maybe air lift and swift springs (swift springs is just up the road in Pamona)?

Weld in a sheet of metal on the front of your trailer on the wheel shelf, right off the floor of the trailer to about 4 feet high so you don’t fuck the paint on the front of your cars your trailering all the time

The track time thing the best time you can get is on bags with a air lift ecu with edfc from tein try it I did and I cut off a huge 160 seconds off my lap time I used to use coilovers with the most aggressive set up to stiffen the car up but that air set up makes a 110% difference I did not even get any weel spin surprisingly

On a lot of cars you can use the fob/key in the door lock to open and close the windows

Hold the lock button down on the key and it should close all windows with no one in the car and same to open windows with the unlock button on the key. Does on my Audi anyways. Hope this helps for future reference

windows wouldn't be a problem with the 350z anyway... you can control the windows with the key and fob. Hold unlock for 4 seconds they go down, put the key in and turn to lock and hold for 4 seconds, windows go up... 350z things :D

I live in Poland. Getting a nice car as a daily driver is about 10-15k PLN for a more than 10 years old car. Getting coilovers for such a car is about 1-3k PLN. Getting a proper bags for your car is about same price as the car you got. Somewhere bags are just so expensive for low/middle budget project cars :/
