Hi Trishanne...I don't use a lip plumper on a normal basis. I do like a good plumping gloss every once in awhile, but don't have one in particular I use on the regular. :)

Yes to the nude lip gloss video. Thank you for sharing these favorites, especially by tone families. I have a cool undertone and always go with pinks with a sheen, so I really appreciate them being highlighted. It's so gosh darn hard to guage undertones when I cant test them in person and I am not especially skilled in seeing them. I have wasted so much money on lipsticks that are great, but the wrong shade/undertone for me. I see a few in your pinks that I really like. Thanks again!

Lipstick is my favorite item of makeup and I miss wearing it because I work and wear a mask daily. I love pink nudes but many brands turn warm on me (Charlotte Tilbury, Natasha Denona and YSL) but I usually find what I want with MAC. I love their Laissez Faire lipstick (MAC Love Me Lipstick). When I start wearing lipstick again, I will check out Creme Cup. Wonderful video.

Nars cruising is my favorite right now. I can’t wear opaque colors or nudes. It just emphasizes my lip lines. I looked up that ND lipstick in Natasha and saw that it says light neutral coral, it doesn’t look like it has coral, it looks like a cool tone nude, which is what I prefer. I was thinking about ordering it but don’t want any warm undertones.

Yeah, I am not sure why they say coral...it has not a stitch of coral in it in my opinion. Definitely doesn't pull warm on me. Even the arm swatches of the shade look nothing like coral. So strange!

I do use a lipliner sometimes, but I would say 90% of the time, I just use the lipstick. If I do, I tend to go maybe one shade darker with the pencil. :)

One of my favorite nudes is the NYX filler instinct plumping lip color in Beach Casual. It’s not crazy plumping (no harsh tingle) but I do feel something. The shade is so pretty and it feels so good on the lips/moisturizing. I always keep one in my purse.

💋 i mostly wear nude lipsticks, but my favourite of all time is Hourglass girl Stylo in Idealist. It’s a warm nude. I also like the shades Believer and Peacemaker. I also love Nudestix magnetic lip and cheek in Tay Tay. Charlotte Tilbury in Penelope Pink is another favourite pinky nude. I want to try the Natasha Denona I Need a Nude lipsticks, particularly in the neutral beige category. 💄

My favorite nude lipstick is Truffle by Becca. Their lipstick formula is amazing. Creamy, opaque, non-drying, and they last and last. My lips are cool toned and slightly leaning purple/mauve. This color is my lips but better. Looks great paired with Lancôme Ideal lip liner. I miss lipstick though. I hardly wear it anymore with masks.

I don't have a ton of lipsticks from the drugstore but I will definitely let y'all know when I find some I like. I think it's just getting something you think is pretty and seeing how it looks with your skintone...and then buy accordingly from there. If you are more fair, I would go for lighter colors, and if you are darker, try for darker ones, so they don't wash you out.

It’s funny I just bought my favorite Lancôme pink lip gloss ( which really has a faint pink color, but I love the gloss!) I’ve been needing the perfect pink lipstick to go underneath it! P.S. speaking of pinks, and cool colors- I was watching a bunch of your old tutorials today. I forgot how beautiful the balm desert bronzer blush is!!!!!Geese .... Hey Cathy! Sometimes your skintone can factor in to how a lippy will look for sure. But the pigment of your actual lips plays a roll the most I think. Until you mix a shade with your natural lip color, you won't know the true shade of the lipstick to know how it will pair with your skintone. I know that may not make sense...I don't think I explained it right. But, I also know there is a good majority of people with very lightly pigmented lips, which helps the lipstick stay more true to color.

Love your selection. You have to add Lancôme Color Design lipsticks to your list to try. I got “Love it” as a gift with purchase once and fell in love with the formula. My favorites are “Love it” (cool pink nude) and “Pale Lip” (pink nude).They don’t emphasize lines, are very moisturizing, and don’t even need a gloss. Perfect purse lipsticks! I have never heard anybody talk about these but you won’t be disappointed.

Oh no! Have you tried priming your lips with a concealer first and seeing if that helps. Sometimes the pigment of our lips can alter the look of a lipstick.
