I have had this from age 8-10 years old, I’m now 63 and I’m done with all the treatments that are supposed to be helpful.. I quit wasting money when I was about 40 and shaved my head... i think I realized Christ there’s no cure. So I called it good.. I’ll just wear a scarf and or hat and make it work... I honestly don’t think it has crap to do with stress... it’s autoimmune disorder so don’t listen to the doctors that mention stress as a factor. It didn’t matter one bit in my 60 years...

I know you probably hear this all the time, you’re beautiful with or without hair. I’ve been working on a bald spot right in the front on the top of my head for about 30 years. I’m an old lady, 82 and I shouldn’t care but I do. I’m in a panic because I can’t cover the front anymore. I don’t have a beautiful face like you. You’ve made me feel ashamed so I’m going to get a better attitude.

Immune issues is key... I’m 62 and have been a test dummy for years... I have type one diabetes, thyroid issues, cancer twice, several autoimmune issues... my hair came and went so often and gave me false hopes. One day I just got tired. Screw it. I shaved my head and called it good. No more treatments. Treatments that failed me often. Such a waste of money, time and hopeful outcome... it’s not stress induced. It’s autoimmune induced.. you must trick your immune system. Shock it per say.

Literally 95% of the videos that I've watched about reversing alopecia areata was from people who focused on be happy. Currently I found two spots in my hair during this pandemic when I was cutting it. So, I am doing two courses diploma and graduation at the same time in another country, working in a very stressful job as a chef, and having exams all together. I think I need to slow down.

I also was diagnosed with Alopecia Areata during COVID-19. I lost hair on my crown. When I went to see my GP, he confirmed it. Fortunately, my hair has grown back for now. I was told that it is an autoimmune disease and not caused by stress. I wore hair toppers and received many compliments, and that helped with my confidence.

I had alopecia Areata and healed it with garlic. This method has its roots from Turkey coiffures. Take the juice from garlic and but it on the bold spot. Rob it until you feel a burn (the inflammation reacts of the garlic juice). After that stop. Repeat it every day until you see some hair growing back. Most of the time it starts with white hair. Good luck!

My daughter has this. She is 4. The doctors say ring worm then they said no it isn't. Then they sent me to a hormone doctor and she basically told me she couldn't help me at all and she's not even sure why they sent us to her so she referred me to a dermatologist. The dermatologist still hasn't contacted me and my daughter's hair is worsening. It's so frustrating. Hers started off as spots and we thought she or someone was pulling her hair out then they started to grow, now she has over 50% hair loss and kids are starting to bully her. Her doctor said that her bloodwork didn't show alopecia at all but I am almost certain she has alopecia areata. Thank you so much for this video. You gave so much helpful info. Thank you thank you thank you!!!!!

Darling, I’ve had this autoimmune issue from age 8-10 it came and went over the years and around age 59 I quit, gave up on all possible treatments .. I shaved what was left off.. tied a scarf on my head and called it good.. I have tried everything for this, horrible!!!! I tried wigs for some time but found it horribly uncomfortable, I remember the injections.... the topicals.. however it was great and awful off and on.. I’m 63 now and I’m good with wearing a scarf and hat, I do remember my scalp being itchy. Horrible. I have been diagnosed with type one diabetes, I have thyroid issues, I’ve had cancer twice, needless to say it’s been a rough medical challengingly life... I don’t have money for fancy hair replacements. So I’m really good with a scarf or hat

I just want to live to the day when a hair loss patient goes to the doctor and A) they are not immediately dismissed and B) they are not misdiagnosed. Hi Alo Jules, heart wrenching story for a young person making their way in the world. So what causes your condition? well it appears stress is the main contributor, and so what are you stressing about? Might be many things originally but made worse by you hair falling out also what people are thinking and saying about you.. Great recommendation is box breathing to find more calm in you life, and you will hopefully find better physical and mental health. Also you might be zinc deficient, red meat, oysters, nuts, and sea kelp helps with this. Definitely no sugar, carbs, or processed food. Hope this helps...

Yes I was misdiagnosed too, with a fungal infection! I was like no way, I specifically use antifungal stuff and I'm a preschool teacher I know what those look like. Found a really cool dermatologist and he didn't even need to dig deep he was like, okay girl this is the issue. He was quite expensive too haha, I might almost have died 😂. You're sooo cute haha. Thank you so much for this videoooo!!! 💐

@@iolemaffei hi! 😃 Sorry, I am in south Africa, sorry 🤭, however, his name is Dr. Sher, at Bedford centre, Bedfordview, Johannesburg . Maybe you could look him up on Google maps and share an email with your symptoms. He may be able to recommend someone around you if you're lucky, or suggest what to check and ask to be checked for in a consult with someone you may visit near you. All the best! 💐

My mom used to live in a rural village in Bangladesh. She said when she was young she saw few people having the same bald spots on their head. They rub fresh blood of Cuche fish ( Asian swamp eel) and let it dry. She doesn't know how many times they used the blood but their hair grew back. It was a popular belief among older generation in the village that the Chuche fish blood has some medicinal property. That fish is available in Asian countries. If there is no cure available to you, you may try it as a last resort.

maneli damane up to now nothing really it hurts to say it but I just have to accept it and maybe accept that I may have to live my self without this and many people take it for granted but oh well. I ate super healthy and take many supplements and used oils but up to know my head is full of peach fuzz and it’s long peach fuzz and some is black in some places just hoping it grows back.
