I went to Soviet Union on official work in 1987-1988 and lived for 3 months in European Russia and another 3 months in Uzbekistan, (Southern Republics). I stayed in Moscow for one week in July 1987 & again for another week in January 1988.Your video makes me recall that period. Your couch surfer's building is a typical Soviet Apartment Block and I am familiar with it. Moscow is very much the same including trolley buses, however the cars are swanky!

Tourbasu, you reminded my first Couchsurfer location in Moscow where I stayed near Dinamo Metro station. I used to catch bus no 409 also to reach her house. She also given duplicate key of house. Some places of the way you have shown in videos, I passed through many times when I was there in july 2019.
