Hi Sherry, Nice little apt. One suggestion - if you put your bedside table to the other side, you can then move the whole desk to the left side of the sliding door & about 3" closer to the windows to create a slight visual break between the living and sleeping area, instead of have the desk butting against the back of the couch.

10:32 A passing thought: the desk can be shifted 90 degrees to the right to have it face the TV, and with the couch resting just on the sliding door. Then, you can have the door fully closed, if you want it.

Generally the standard of life is high. People pay 3k because they earn 5-6k. Not everyone of course but I believe the average salary before tax is around 4k or higher.

Alexandra Calteau, $3K is a lot. Land is scarce in Singapore so naturally, high rentals and home prices are the consequences.
