In this video, I will talk in detail for the first time about my Arabic learning journey, filled with stories of passion, adventures, struggles, and reflections.
It's also a video for myself to remind me how my journey started and what I have been through. Arabic, for me, is not just a language; it has given me a new perspective, a new identity, a new community, and a new sensibility linked to its unique culture.
I hope you enjoy this video. Leave a comment to let me know which part of the video you'd like to hear more about.

This video couldn't have come at a better time. I've been on the fence about learning Arabic for so long - I always wanted to do medical aid work in the middle east and Africa. I thought it might be too late for me since I'm about to start working full time and I wasted all my free time during university. But this video has really inspired me - you're the first language youtuber who seems to have used her language abilities for something really valuable to the community and that's reignited my motivation. I hope you keep us updated on your work. I'll be starting my Arabic journey today, inshaAllah, ask me how it's been going in a few years lol.

I basically had the same issue, before I got a job I had plenty of free time and I am now working full time. Around four months ago I started learning Arabic and I am really happy about my decision, I met amazing people, I learned more about me and the world. It's never too late, just do what you want to do!! And yes, I am not super consistent with learning, some weeks I study everyday while some weeks I may study once or twice but that's stil better than nothing

Thank you for sharing your life-changing experience with us. It's amazing how learning a new language and culture can influence a person and their growth. I share a similar experience but in Japan. I am Lebanese and traveled to East Asia because of my fascination with Asian languages and culture. I am doing my PhD in cancer research while also learning Japanese and a little bit of Indonesian (as a standardized version of Malay). Although Japanese culture is very different from Lebanese culture, I found myself immersed in the Indonesian community. They are very warm and loving people. Perhaps the Islamic religion incorporated into their culture makes most Muslim communities warm and welcoming. Since you are fascinated by kibbeh, you should try kibbeh krass-it’s a famous Lebanese dish. Best of luck with your channel and your PhD. I look forward to watching more about your journey through the Arabic language
