I've brought an areca palm yesterday from a nursery of 150 rupees and I have repotted it today some of the bottom leaves were yellow so I cutted them I am so excited for it to grow!

@@satnamkarnawal511 yes it is still alive, but it is really hard to care in summers all the leaves were crisping so i provided it humidity with a pebble tray and it worked, now in monsoon i have only some leaves on the plant and recently i saw new growth and its healthy and fine but still i am not happy with it, it was way better when i bought it from the nursery just today i shifted it outdoors maybe it'll do better there.

I have kept few of my areca palm which I bought 3 months back in another area . Wile cleaning the palm few of the stems which were damaged have been broken from the base and only small part/thread like structures connecting to roots remains in the soil from which plant starts growing. These stems turned completely brown from the base as if rotten however other stems are completely fine . Is this concerning or is a normal process ? Can it be result of overwatering or underwatering ?
