I exactly followed your instructions and now I have over 200 three inch high plants. I have started to transfer 3-4 seedlings together into one pot and they are doing great. When did yours flower and seed? I am in south central Florida. I planted some very large arecas in March. None have produced seeds. I wonder will they bloom later this summer or perhaps next spring?

I had my ‘mother’ palms about 6 years by then and when I bought them they were 10 feet high ( I don’t know how old that would make them). They need a certain age to produce ‘worthy’ seeds. All the plants I got are doing wonderful. I grouped 5 together and now I finally transferred them from the pots to their final destination in the yards. They are 2 feet high. good luck

Ally Chamroo I don't think that you can so seeds in Sea sand because it contains salt. However, there maybe some process in sowing in Sea sand but that process is not known to me. I am sorry for that.
