Rhett nice video! hey. comment something about having another guitarrist on the band. was it to difficult to "negociate the mid range" with the other instrumentist with only 2 rehearsals. which strategy did you use?

You should genuinely know that the reason you're playing w/ the Black Keys is because of the way you play and how your guitar sounds in this group. Not to take away from them, but you're a very important part of this group Rhett. An amazing achievement.

Good to see you're already putting your heart into the performance. You have to live it to feel it, regardless of who is or isn't listening. Edit: Just watched you lift that speaker cab all wrong! Seriously, please ask for help, it's not about being too macho or thinking since you've done it a 100 times before you won't get injured in the future. I have some back injuries I've been debilitated by, and just the intense pain alone makes it worth lifting correctly and asking for help when lifting a speaker cab, even just a 2/12 in an anvil case. I've even seen guys much stronger than you physically wreck their backs lifting something less heavy.

I am now 56. Toured like you for 25 years, over a few states constantly, many venues. Loading in, loading out PA/gear, and sometimes some are supplied. My knees and back are gone pretty much. I would love to see more Helix videos (if you still have a helix or advice) to help form a decision on how I should move forward. If I lift much more, Doc says I might lose things. I do not want to quit. (Your videos have been very helpful)

Amen Rhett!!! Your tone, playing and versatility were excellent. Going from the solid to semi hollow body and vice versa with your pondering rig is a great blessing to hear in so many ways. The band ,the other lead guitarist( sounds great ,plays inspired), the drummer and the bass player working together following the vocals and leadership of the singer/song writer Jessy Wilson draws me in always. I still don't know what Jessy is singing about, but her leadership and passion/strong delivery in the music makes you all more than others who have the same quality of chops. The Bible teaches , The ear is not filled with hearing. I hope to hear more soon. The Bible says, A merry heart maketh a cheerful countenance and doeth good like a medicine.
