The megalosaurus were on passive, so when you wristled them on rockwell, they would stop and forget everything about him every time he took a bath, and therefor you had to go to them and remember them to attack him.

Tip for making the megalos hit rockwell by themselves: First time you whistle them in on him, you need to first whistle “attack this target” (bound to . ) and when they start attacking whistle aggressive as well (bound to - on numpad). The reason you need to do this is, that every time his tentacles return he counts as a new target, and the megalos were whistled to the “old version” of him

He was supposed to do extinction before abberation at the end of extinction the sun rises and it is super bright and it becomes radiated. So now the surface cant live and titans walk around on the surface which I what I assume about the big shake. But you hear Rockwell at the end of extinction also rockwell. Turned himself into the monster

Not sure if anyone else has mentioned, but you can use the stealth mode on the Drake while shooting the tentacles to allow the Nameless and Reapers to ignore you. This is what the group I ran with on official did.

I always do the tentacles in a very specific order so i end up close to my army to re-whistle them onto rockwell, and i keep them on attack target so they can defend against anything that chews on them while the tentacles are up.

Oh Syntac, is there any chance you could pass along a suggestion for the next event? My favorite thing about events are the special colors. Now red and green does not make for anything too terribly pretty but some frosty winter colors would be fabulous and also different from other events. Yeah, I know it's silly but, um, maybe?

If you wait to kill the tentacle closest to its heart you can be right there to whistle attack target instead of having to glide half way around the arena

The megalos probably changed agro to a nameless between vulnerable phases, and you were well out of whistle range to re-agro them to rockwell.

On official we use 298 dmg shotguns cause of the damage cap and drakes with like 1,5k stam and 20k hp. We are looking for 6k and more hp at hatch. You could leave the last tentacle at the front, so if you kill the last tentacle you could whistle them on him easier

You can craft something called mindwipe tonic in the cooking pot, which will reset your levels. Then you just pump all levels into crafting skill, craft whatever saddles and items you need, and do another mindwipe tonic to reset your stats back to normal.

Bigboy Soup you can tame every carnivore with fish meat if you have 12 years to spare lol. Baryonyx, Icthyornis, otters, and hesperornis require fish meat to “live.” Spinos eat all the meat.

I had to check this cause it's been forever since I had a spino. But spinos can eat meat, you can tame with mutton though prime fish is better. The only egg that makes exceptional kibble on ab is basilisk which is a huge pain, easier to just use rock drake eggs to make extraordinary kibble and tame with that. And I've done rockwell like 5 times and every time nothing attacks rockwell. So we gave up with this megalo strategy after the first two failed attempts and just rocketed him once the tentacles went down and had 2 mega's each on follow and neutral to deal with the nameless and reapers and whatnot.

On Xbox official PvE our rexes are up to 31k health 1002 melee at pop. Spinos are at 15k HP and 1043 melee at pop. On Valguero the spinos work but we had a few casualties. With rexes there hasn’t been one casualty (both have/had 100+ saddles)

Job well done. Two ideas for Alpha. 1) Two Megalosaurus escorts on ignore group whistle. They will give you time to regen stam and decimate any Reapers close to you. 2) Tame and Breed 2 or 3 Stego's. You can pump them full of hp (6.8k hp will get to 26k easily), fill them full of veggie cakes, and let them tank some damage. Excited to see you finish Ab.

Hey syn a tip for flying snow owls you might know but if you dive bomb at the right angle then jump last second you can bunny hop really far fast if you do it right when you bunny hop your owl will be in the standing orm

It’s a toggle in the settings called “Single player settings” it influences most of the game multiplayers It Doubles the tamed dino damage Greatly increases breeding, taming, xp ecc rates
