I know this is totally random and off topic, but omg..what is the name of your nailcolor/ nail polish...it's awesome!
@DollarDiva993 жыл бұрын
🥰 it's called mirror powder. You polish nail the rub the powder on with a eyeshadow applicator. Then apply UV top coat. Just watch KZbin videos on mirror powder for nails.

Watching this video answered a question I have about a lot of the colorist. And that is are most of you are artist. Because the coloring is so awesome by just about every colorist I've watched. It doesn't seem any are like me, who don't know anything about blending, shading etc. Now I don't feel so bad knowing that most of the colorist are artist.

That's a great point. I never analyzed it like that. You are exactly correct. Colorists like Chris Cheng are amazing Artists. And we are using this talent to teach others what we know and love. Thank you so much for your comment and support. Happy coloring friend.

Me again. I just have to add that while I feel like having a background in art helped me when it came to getting started with adult coloring in terms of having a basic knowledge of color theory, light and shadow, anatomical proportion, landscape range and things like that, when I started this hobby it was because a psychiatric crisis had wiped out my ability to paint and draw. I'd attended the best schools in NYC but I was left incapable of drawing a stick figure with any acuity and I was devastated. Coloring in the artwork of people like Neece, Johanna, Chris, and then later some more detailed work really helped me retrain my brain and get back the muscle memory that is required. Coloring is an art unto itself, and it can be learned at any age. But despite having a rich classical background and training, my initial colorings looked like they'd been done by a toddler. My point is that you don't need a background in art to be successful in this craft. People like Neece, who do have that background, are available to help, and with training and practice you can create beautiful works of art.
