You don't need any tutorials you just need to practice, draw everyday for at least an hour and you'll get better

Sun Wukong If you keep strumming a ukulele and “practice” you won’t get any better. Same with drawing. You need to learn, repeat, and practice on your own. So it’s better to learn from tutorials and then practice. I don’t really care what *you* do because it’s your life you’re living, not mine.

@@conanstars I second this ^. If you want to become a good drawer, you have to start from the very basics. That means basic shapes, perspective, how shadows work, etc. People often don't realize being a good drawer is a skill and takes many hours of practise and learning to become really good at. You can't just become a good drawer out of the blue. Everyone starts from zero.

Great video! Also August 17 is my birthday haha. Also, you should try revisiting SAO and drawing Underworld Kirito/Asuna in a steampunk/cyberpunk setting. That would be super cool. Same with characters like Guts, Luffy, Kaneki. Also my favourite video might just be steampunk Spider-Man because I just love Spider-Man so freaking much

Do you have tips for beginner artists that struggle to draw stick figures ? 😭 Everyone in my family are natural artists so I have a lot of pressure to keep up. Everytime I do decide to draw, I either don’t know what to draw or when I do draw, it looks nothing like the reference.

I'll make a guess and say that your family isn't natural artists but rather you believe their skill to be better than yours. That being said, skills can be improved with patience and practice. Don't worry about keeping up with anyone, just try to be better than you were the day before. Eventually it'll be easy to copy/draw from reference so don't worry about that either. You don't know what to draw because you have an empty visual library or in other words, you haven't studied enough subject matter to commit to memory. To fill it, do concentrated studies of things that you enjoy drawing, machinery, ninjas, etc.
