Is this a just frame backlash? seriously though the stance switch into 3~4 is so much more prevalent in 8 than it was in 7

It was way more prevalent in Tekken 7 as it gave a combo after landing 😅

It's not a just frame but can get tricky with the timing as you need to do it consistently repeatedly for this challenge. I tend to do the backlash just as much in T8 as I did in T7. Despite no more full combo, it's still a high damaging power crush with very fast recovery frames that opponents can't punish easily on whiff

@@TheFlyingChungus I was specifically referring to the instant backlash after 3+4, which IIRC was only used in the JSFR combo in 7

@@coolername98 ah my bad. I thought u were referring to backlash in general. Yeah in T8 combos you will do more of the switch stance into backlash because it gives way more opponent airtime on hit and can easily followup with many moves that was not possible in T7. For example, now in midcombo you can easily backlash into ff4 (for heat dash). In T7 it was almost impossible to do backlash into ff4.
