The walkie talkie you have are 0.5 watts u need a bigger one. Get the baufeng uv5r is about 25£ each and the have way bigger range as it is 5watts. I use these to talk with my family in case something goes wrong. They can have 10 miles range. Also you can put a smaller antenna to the one you have with u so it fits in the bag easier.

It actually has several reasons. For one I can have different pressure points on the boom for different strengths of wind and angles. Also, I straight away have a spare one - in case one breaks. And then lastly I have a bigger range of length with two different lines.

I also run two sets of lines of different lengths. The ones I am not using I twist upwards to keep them out of the way. Saves changing them for different sails/conditions and purely for safety. If one breaks it saves your arms if you're a long way out.

Hi Nico, auch wenn die Flightboardbag bei 5:39 nicht mehr so neu aussieht, muß ich dennoch nachfragen. Wo hast Du das fette Teil her? 😂 Ich habe nämlich den 190er JP Foil (auch 100 cm breit), würde den auch gerne mitnehmen, aber ohne passende flightbag verzichte ich da gerne. Bisher habe ich nichts passendes gefunden. Und nur zur Verdeutlichung, enge boardbag habe ich, ich suche eine flightbag, um noch weiteres Material mitzunehmen.
