My Aunt Reacts to EVERY Character in Genshin Impact

Genshin Impact has a large number of characters at this point. Since my aunt was visiting for a couple days, I had her sit down, react to, and give her opinion of every character in Genshin so far (pre 2.8).
The audio isn't the best, just because two people trying to share one mic isn't the ideal recording setup, but hopefully you're still able to hear her reactions and commentary after all the editing.

As a fun fact, when you fully charge Lisa's E her expression turns devilish, her grip on the lightning over her head becomes noticeably tighter, and the Skies go DARK with a thundering storm

Razor also turns the Sky Dark if you hold his E, which makes it fun since Lisa thought him some combat training stuff

Partially unrelated but Kokomi's burst also darken the skies. I like to think it is because her halo is too bright so our "eyes" accommodate to this light and therefore darkens the rest a bit

Beidou also turns the skies dark if you parry perfectly or get 2 or more hits on the parry shield before releasing

More to her lore: when she was child her parents were killed by bandits and she was raised by the same bandits for killing. Then verka took her in and she was given the choice to live a normal life but she refused and wanted to do the same line of work(killing/assassination) So Varka said he would let her do the dirty work of the knights of favonius undercover and in public's eye she has to be a sister of the church. Nobody in game knows this other than varka, Jean, kaeya and diluc.

I think Itto and his gang is less of a take on yakudza and more of a rebelious street gang of delinquents. His idle animation where he fixes his hair is very "delinquent youth" thing.

Interesting detail about Noelle: the reason why she can't pass the Knights of Favonius exam is because Jean keeps changing it on her, not because she lacks confidence. They don't want her to become a full knight because they're afraid she'll get herself in a situation where she doesn't ask for help and get hurt as she has in the past, since she's very stubborn (this is why she's a geo element and not anemo, like Jean)

On the question of who Fischl cosplays, she's cosplaying the character Fischl from her favorite book series, Flowers for Princess Fischl. You can buy the first book in Inazuma. The character in the book also has a talking raven companion named Oz. Basically, Amy's parents were rarely home, and she used to play pretend as Princess Fischl with her father when he was around, so she has fond memories of the character. Some of her only good memories with her parents were of her playing pretend with them when they were actually home, so she clings to that.

So apparently the terrible pronounciation from Fischl is intentional since Amy basically roleplays the fictional character Fischl from the books. As far as I know, the English VA can properly pronounce German words and voice acting has kinda broken German pronounciation intentionally. I could be wrong

I once watched a vid of a character artist reacting to Genshin designs, and he pinpointed everything down to their personality traits just based on the looks. Character design is a language of sorts, if you know how to read it you’ll read a whole story in each of Genshin designs, because they’re very well thought out. When that guy saw Barbara he literally said “she has like ‘come on, we can do this!’ attitude”, effectively 100% guessing a voiceline from the design
