Man I am going through a horrific insurance experience right now. I was parked in a Harbor Freight parking lot and a guy backed his truck over the hood of my car, he had Progressive which offered me a amount that wouldnt even cover the cost of the hood much less the paint job on the hood and the install which both front fenders have to come off to access the bottom two hood hinges to remove them since the hood and hinges both were destroyed. Progressive pretty much told me either take it or go pound sand. I was just before starting a case in my local small claims court to get the claim taken care of but decided to try my insurance company Farmers. My insurance paid the claim and is going to get the money out of Progressive. Even still the amount I was paid was pathetic, and I will have to do all the paint and install myself. What Ive found along the way is nobody wants to do just paintwork anymore, you cant go get a car part or even a car painted like it used to be. A young man could make a fortune opening up an automotive paint shop because nobody wants to do it, everything is just collision centers and they dont even want to paint a whole car.

Damn, sorry to hear you went through all that. I totally expected a terrible experience but literally no part of it went bad. I wonder if Liberty Mutual his normally fair or if I just get lucky.

@@coreysgarage6389 having dealt with several claims I can attest to you got lucky, it does happen sometimes but its rare, it comes down to getting the right person on the phone that has the authority to make things happen. You are right in your video about the first adjuster is to low ball you, that is the business model, but usually if you call back and raise a lil hell you can get the second adjuster to come out and give you a fair enough shake that you dont go deep out of pocket on a claim
