Drae, couple of notes since im working on the exact same thing: 1-You need to press F2, that brings up your mod menu, you need to enable some settings on the build anywhere mod. If it doesn't work, its cause you didn't get the hydroneer++ mod which is required for the build anywhere mod to work propperly. 2-You can use a logical valve on logic cables. . . this way you wont have to keep removing the repeater. Just turn the valve off to turn off the logic. 3-You can cook fish to make them worth more. HOWEVER if you cook them too long, they burn and are worth nothing. To cook fish, they need to sit above a furnace for a couple of seconds (something between 16 and 22). 4-You can put the furnace inside conveyor belts or inside metal platforms. Makes it alot easier. 5-You can either chain a BUNCH of furnace belts to do the timing for you or you can use a complex logic system to turn the belts off and on again using delays or that same logic system to use magnets to transport them off and on the cooker. (pretty obvious which one you will pick, but logicless belt timing DOES take up alot more space) 6-LASTLY and MOST IMPORTANT: Get the "more pans" mod. It gives you a bigger pan. This pan is made SPECIFICALLY to hold fish in it. When fish go in a pan, they no longer have collision, meaning 1 pan can hold infinite fish. Fish in the pan will not collide with eachother and thus not create a mountain clogging up the system. Meaning it's truly passive, which is what you want. Hope this helps give you some ideas on how to keep this series going. I've personally been building my IRL house in this game after you showed it off to me. I am almost done with it and I couldn't be happier with it. Thank you for showing me this amazing game.

Logic less cooker may be more viable if you intentionally use low pressure for conveyor to go slower. You can also possibly just loop fish until its ready and then use filter to make it get out of loop

You could go as far as only needing a single belt where they are dropped on and the belt is turned off, then move it off when it's turned on to drop it off onto the selling belt. Pressure only applies when you are using a single belt. When I said logicless, I meant like 26 furnaces.

Drae, one of the most useful, basic, and relatively simple logic machines you can make is an auto repair sensor for a filter, drill, or harvester. Ingredients are: 1 Greater than logic piece or 1 Equal to logic piece 1 Input logic piece (number pad, or lever is preferred) 1 Logic Durability Reader [LDR] 1 Logic Spanner Hurler (or whatever they're officially called) [LSH] Enough logic cable to wire this all together in a way you're pleased with. The way it goes is you have the LDR pointed at the thing you want automatically fixed. Have that hook into the B side of either the Greater Than logic piece or either the A or B side of the Equal To logic piece. Hook your input logic piece into the A side of the Greater Than logic piece or the other free end of the Equal To logic piece. The output of that will swing around into the LSH that is also pointed at the thing you want to be automatically fixed. The way that works is if you are using the number pad logic piece, erase the 0 in there by default and type in a 1 and then press the green check button. That sets the system up to the moment the LDR gets a value lower than 1, which would be 0, then that will trigger the LSH to activate, which will fix whatever it is you've set this up on. A lever gives either a 1 or a 0 depending on the position it's in. So if you use that, make sure you flip it once it's connected to set the system. If you're using the Equal to piece, then all that means is the moment the LDR reads a durability of 1, 0 or whatever you set the number pad to, the LSH will fire off. This isn't a permanent fix to something breaking, but you at least get 20 breaks before you have to address it. Also to correct you, we've had logic magnet pieces since the introduction of logic and power.

You can put every type of gem in the same gem compacter and it'll compress them into their own separate gems It saves space but then you get more gems in one spot which might lag but I don't know

Where you have the right turn conveyer, switch that with a straight conveyor and then you can put the centralizer hook -- which will actually pull the fish from #2 conveyor into the middle of #1 conveyor, it's a "feature" (bug) but HybridSteel and I found that it works very well.

You are referring to how you can use logic to activate the compressor. There isn't a "timer" per-say, just a lot of items that can be plugged into the compressor that can active it. The ticker thing he used in this video is one such device.

Timer? Kind of. Since the introduction of power and logic, there's been the logic counter. There's now also the logic scale that adds up the weight of stuff that goes past its sensor. These obviously are not the timer you're talking about, but they're what was used before. The logic scale can be really useful now if you know how to build with logic, as you can set it up to roughly weigh out 300, 1000, or however heavy of bars you want of cloutium and iron for new machines.

There's no more power; only logic. I know this too well because the guide I wrote on Steam is now half moot and I need to write up a new one. But I agree. I run a line to my drills, one to the belt that takes dirt from them as well as the harvesters I have, and then I have 1 master switch for the entire system that includes the sorting system afterwards. On top of having relatively automatic systems, I try to also have manual overrides as well. That's the tricky part with logic. You know what you want it to do, but putting that in logic language that the game will understand is the riddle.

I was having the same issue with the gems, I fixed it by adding a belt in between the compressor and the sorter. I hope this helps someone

Would adding a pressurized pipe piece right before the piece that feeds into the compressor help? I just know that the more pressure a belt has, the faster it moves. So if you add that extra belt between the sorter and compressor and it has full pressure, you're gonna yeet that thing as hard as you can off the belt, giving it the smallest chance for it to get caught on that lip. You can even run the pipe perpendicular through the belt to then swing around into the compressor, making that part of the setup.

I put a logic magnet over the gem compressor and have it on a timer of sorts. I have it and the compressor on the same circuit so the magnet pulls the stuck gem and all of the gems get caught in the lid and compressed.

There are sea creatures that utilize 'metal' in their body so theoretically if somehow you could include similar genes that affected the scale or bone creation/repair of a fish you could make them magnetic. I'm an electrical engineer, not bio, so I have no idea what I'm talking about. I just watch a lot of 'The Thought Emporium' and wish I was as cool.

The gems and ores sticking is from reloading the game world. Upon Exiting the world it freezes everything that is moving to avoid crashing the game, while trying to exit game to main menu or exit the game to desktop.

make sure theres water, dirt on the ground needs to hit the center of the grinder soremove the drilll get a concrete block and put 2 shovels of dirt from back to front to cover where the drum sits then relalce t2 drilll.

Drae please please please read the description of the "Booster" as you call it, they changed how it works now it just resets the pressure to the starting amount instead of adding extra. I have a setup at the first claim of 80 tier 1 miners all going into a tier 2 grinder. you just need a single conveyer line with miners on both sides then you can stack them but make sure to put walls in front of them to make sure the dirt lands on the conveyor, and since things on a conveyor dont have collision they dont combine. wish i could put a picture to show you the design.
