My Awakening Journey

I was raised in a religion that kept me from knowing my own soul. Despite being surrounded by people and a belief system that wanted to protect me from my own soul and from the spirit of nature, I found myself being ushered away from my old beliefs. I was being guided into a more expanded and freeing way of living and was shown what true love feels like. This is the story of my spiritual awakening.

I completely agree with you. I was bought up Catholic. When I was 8, I was told that I needed to confess my sins to a priest. I asked why can't I just talk to God directly. Let's just say that got me into a little trouble.

@@gustanski Good point. However remember when Christ Jesus was crucified, the Temple vail was torn I two down the middle. That indicated by GOD that we can access the throne of grace indirectly through the blood & resurrected Spirit of Jesus whom we pray through to reach God our Heavenly Father, not “ priests” ( undoubtedly that was why you where scolded. Father, Son & Holy Spirit. God is at rest after Creation, Jesus is at rest seated at the right hand of God after his crucified body was resurrected, Holy Spirit is on Earth working to draw people to right relationship with God Almighty. The Catholic Church is disingenuous.🤥
