That really sucks. The job search can be really demotivating and sometimes makes you question your self - I've been through that myself. Unfortunately, people who mislead and ghost you aren't too uncommon when going through the interview process. Don't take it personally though. Sometimes there may be multiple candidates, and they want to keep their options open. It is really annoying how they get your hopes up and end up wasting your time and energy. I would do whatever it takes to maximise my chances at getting the job, even if it means being a little less candid. Look out for yourself :)

Job searching was super hard for me at first but eventually I found my place. Keep at it and you’ll find a good spot too.

It's shameful to treat someone like that. I'm sorry you had to go through it. I agree; treat people how you want to be treated. It's not hard to treat people with kindness and respect. Having to decide if we should hide our disabilities to be able to be treated fairly and without judgement is depressing. I really hope you can find a great company soon!

I would hire you honey 😊🤗🥰 Bless you. I'm older, but also often wonder if I could even get a job anymore? I can only use one hand & so can't type & I've been thinking about how most jobs these days use a computer/keyboard one way or another. Are there one-handed keyboards? I don't even know. Anyway I hope/pray the next one works out better for you. Even if you don't get it, I hope they at least behave more professionally. There is no need to lie to people. Usually they end the interview saying they will mail a decision letter, which is much kinder than giving someone false hope. Bless you. Keep trying. Aww you are so sweet 🥹 Thank you🥰 They do make one handed keyboards but I actually have never tried using one. That’s a great point with typing and is another disadvantage for me. While I can type, I definitely type a lot slower with only having use of one hand.

I am sorry you had that experience that sounds horrible. I have hemiplegia and it took me so long to get a job. I got rung up after an interview once and was told I didn't get the job but they wanted me to volunteer for them it felt so awful. Please don't give up it might take time but there will be employers out there who will hire you. Good luck

There is literaly almost nothing i hate more than when someone does not keep their word! I wouldn't take it personal here bc it's an employer and sometimes things change and they don't give us the memo but i feel you it's something i often confront my dad and step mom about. Don't say something if you aren't going to follow through, it's rude.
