I say, she is telling the story of the song, as she believes it should be told, just as Angelina does with every song. Very enjoyable reaction with great comments. You noticed Angelina singing barefoot and commented that it makes her feel natural. There is a far greater meaning to this that will touch your heart! Why does Angelina sing barefoot? The answer may bring a tear to your eye. It is related to a promise she made to herself and to the world when she was only 6 years old. She was traveling in the Middle East with her mom and grandmother and they came across a young orphan girl with no shoes and scarred feet. Angelina gave the girl her own favorite shoes. Angelina ask the girl what she wanted to be when she grew up and she said a doctor, but she could not because she had to take care of her siblings. She asked Angelina the same question and Angelina said I want to sing for the world. The young girl said she would pray for Angelina. Since then, Angelia has forever performed barefoot as a reminder of all those less fortunate. At age 9 she wrote a book about this experience, Between two Hearts, becoming the youngest ever published author in Norway. She also has helped raise millions for children's charities. She even stated at 8 years old that she would be donating her winnings from Norway's Got Talent to charities. She is a special individual, and one you cannot follow without developing an emotional bond. Angelina did her first Vegas concert at age 18 in February. She released a new song called Princess of Ruins which is the story of giving her shoes to the orphan girl when she was six. I would highly recommend reacting to it, using the video by BigAngiefan. Subtitles would be helpful. Please provide links to the original video and Angelina's official channels in your description. Hallie, it was so nice that you listened to the original before Angelina's rendition. So many reactors are not familiar with Jay's version and don't really 'get' what Angelina did with this song. As always, she honors the song and the original artist.

She started singing at one and a half years old and she started with jazz and she plays about four musical instruments, and writes music,, and English is not her native language,, her first studio recording was at six years old,, she wrote a book about why she sings barefoot,, she won Norway got talent at 7-8 years old,, and was on American got talent at 13 years old,, the Documentary about her beginning, ( wrapped in a warm blanket) her early years, shows her singing at one and a half years old and it was a Whitney Houston song,, Enjoy,, always watch her whole interviews and videos,, you will learn a lot,, you might want to start with her youngest years first,, love your reaction ♥️

Hawkins - I think her grandma bought it at a concert in Tokyo ;) At 0:26 you can see the bassist smiling - I can imagine that he smiles about the expectable reactions of the listeners in the moment, when Angelina starts to sing at 0:30 😏 Btw.
