When I was pregnant I took a Hypno-Birthing class and the woman told us that our baby could totally hear us and recommended that we try reading books to the baby while I was pregnant. My husband would lay on the side of my stomach opposite of our baby and start reading, and my little boy would always move to that side. It was really sweet. He has always loved to read and it was a really sweet way for us to enjoy reading books to our baby while we were still waiting to meet him. Also, she told us that he could see a flashlight shown through my stomach. Both were kind of funny and interesting to try. Just a thought since you are so excited to read books to your baby. You don’t have to wait til she is born if you don’t want!
