Good luck with the left hand cranking! It takes one or two fishingtrips to get used to it! Really nice kit you've got there.

Thanks for watching! It's very light weight tackle! Tight Lines!

@@superstrike - it seems logical to put a lefty reel in the right hand for light baitcasting but the weight of the gears tips the rod to the left resulting in a cast with the reel side-on. You have to watch and correct for that so that you aim well, and always cast with the spine of the rod. With a righty on righty the reel balances in the hand on the rod, the gear box sits on your forefinger, so the cast goes where you point it; overhead, underhand, backhand, or flip.

Switch to the lightest rods until it heals. I adore my Ugly Stik Elite and Shimano Cardiff combo, but they cause my elbow pain, so I have stopped using them. My go to now is a Shimano Compre and Quantum Smoke S3. They cause me no pain and are cause no fatigue casting all day. I'm waiting for somebody to build an ultralight casting combo for trout. I'll be all over that.

Thanks for watching! This Abu reel Roxani: only 185g. and rodXcrossfield: 120g. I won't use the heavy old Abu reel next few month.

Ultralight casting for trout already exists. It's about accuracy not distance, rarely needing more than 30-ft. The Roxani should go down to 3g, maybe 2.5g using a light 3-lb to 6-lb fluorocarbon line with a small rubber worm bait. That light line will land a large trout or perch. A 5'6" baitcasting trout rod feels like a feather duster. I have arthritis in every joint and have had to downsize all my activities to pander to it. UL and BFS require little more than a wrist flick to cast not some almighty beach caster swing, let the rod do the work. Accuracy, don't even try for distance.

Thanks for watching! 2500C was cheap and easy to get it before. But now, it is very expensive. I stopped using it and start use the BF8.
