I have such a hard time keeping pages blank! I find myself thinking about what I want to pull out to decorate each page! Your method of mass making has inspired me to make lots and lots of possibilities- I have a WHOLE TRAY of “harvested numbers” and meaningful words. Thank you for sharing all your ideas. Alison if you’re struggling may I suggest finding a video of a mixed media piece you like and then replicate it with your own supplies, after creating a few of these you will gain confidence and start to discover your own style.

My goodness! You are soooooo organised! I do pre-make a few things, but then 'fret' when they haven't got a 'home'. I think I'm learning that having some 'generic' bits and bobs suits me, but I also like creating to a theme - which means I have to wait until I know what I doing! 😊🧡💚🤎

Its been a while since you shown a completed project. Btw. Mark Montano recently used gel papers to make some cute paper lanterns for decorating string lights. He also love the gellie printing. Not sure if you have ever watched his you tube.

Ceri....I so enjoy your videos and I always learn something from them. I'm relatively new to junk journaling and I really struggle with the whole concept. I can't seem to wrap my mind around the whole ephemera thing and what to put where? and does it match? And does it have a purpose? I don't know maybe it's a right brain thing? Anyway I seem to make the process way more difficult and complicated than it needs to be. You make it look so easy and uncomplicated. Thanks for sharing your art!

Sandy I think it’s important to state that there are no rules only preferences, I create and use my ephemera so that it’s pleasing to my eye, if you’re working to a theme some people find that easier. When I make a journal for myself I leave all of the page blank and only add ephemera as I’m writing in the journal.

Garden sails can be both male and female. They don't have to have another snail to reproduce. Don't ask me why I remember that from biology. Probably because I remember stepping on a snail in by bare feet. The summer before, I attended my biology class. That was over 50 years ago.😮
