From another yt viewer (Hi, I’m Donna) and I think that is an awesome piece of memorabilia! The main reason, however, that I am sending you this comment on your comment is that I am so glad to hear that you junk journal!! I am 74 (and feel like a young chick inside!) Of course the outside tells a more true story…but who cares! Junk journaling is not all that old of a craft (I think) and I was actually wondering which age groups would be interested…. I am furiously getting ready to sell my house and move to a small town where I will know exactly one person, that is my son! As a way of meeting people I plan to either find a jj group or start one! I am trying to figure out the best way (or any way actually) to get the word out about it. I am just wondering how you got involved with junk journaling? I know it’s a bit like scrapbooking which we know from long ago but to me it’s much more artistic. I don’t know if you check for people commenting back to you but I hope that you get this message as I would love to chat a bit more with you! 😊💕Donna

What a lovely compendium!! 😍 I will absolutely rewatch this later for reference. It’s hard to pick a favorite! I think the Waterfall Card is the most unique idea - I don’t think I have seen that on any other channel! I use tipins and doors all the time. One of my favorite doors was made with a simple watercolor gradient I painted onto a heart shape. I then stenciled a little bit of iridescent paint on the heart, sliced the heart down the center, and attached the outer edges of each half to the page. Then used hot glue to attach a button on one half, and threaded a length of string through the other half. So it made a little heart door with a button closure that opened to reveal a special photo 🥰 I actually recorded that process, but have never had time to edit the footage. I really love those shaker pages, too! 🤩 I’ll have to try that. It seems like a great way to reuse plastic packaging. One of my favorite materials to recycle is actually deli paper (if clean, of course). 😅 I don’t have much disposable income to spend on journaling supplies, so I’m always looking for free resources. Completely by accident, I discovered that the deli paper at Lidl’s makes a wonderfully warm, semi-transparent, kraft-tinted door to cover private entries. It’s also a great collage background that mimics aged parchment! Highly recommend saving it the next time you get a pastry from Lidl! 😅 Anyway, your videos are always so inspiring and uplifting. 🥰 You have such great ideas and a beautiful, refined style. Thank you so much for sharing! 🩵🕊️
