So glad to see you back, Helen. I love the calm, peaceful time while you paint. I would definitely enjoy more videos of your Sky adventures. I don’t know if I’ll be able to make it across the pond for one of your workshops but would enjoy a vlog or behind the scenes video. I’m glad you’ve decided to forgo “perfect” and simply “show up”. I think perfect is over rated and waiting for it means you are missing out on life. Looking forward to your next video.

i love that you have treasures that are cracked and your photos with your parents made my heart full of warmth. It was everything in a video I was looking for: the very organized mess! I failed to see where the mess was. I tried. Goodluck in your moving and happy holidays. Make you receive twice of what you give in warmth.

I really enjoyed this, although a major takeaway is that my own art space needs a major tidying and re-organization. :) Each time you’ve shown your studio space, I’ve always envied your natural light. I had the same wonder as Shirley about your drawers; thanks for sharing that those are IKEA. Best of luck with your house move!

Aww well I do find it’s the most soothing thing to get it all organised! But ultimately it doesn’t stay that way for too long (as you can tell by some of my drawers 🫠). I am very lucky with the light. I hope I can replicate that with the move!

LOLZ I also LOVE😍 watching tours of other 'studio' spaces particularly ones based at home and how people live whilst creating creative spaces and ones which touch on zen/minimalism/cosy/working with limitations. Recently Ive been back to decluttering so was watching videos yesterday on artists decluttering their spaces/materials. (Ive been on this big decluttering journey for 6yrs since coming back to my family home having lived away on/off for decades and so much to go through but also the emotional/internal journney that goes with it and letting go). I actually thought you had a separate space!! 😊How amazing that youve created such a lovely calming making space in your bedroom!! But also, things for your shop/workshops too!!! Really inspiring. I have a separate box room office/'studio' but its also my chill out room - it gets messy really quick and in more recent years Ive been getting overwhelmed more easily so slowly paring back everything. Ive also been getting rid of all my old artworks and tomorrow an A1 portfolio case is heading to the charity shop :) Super exciting to see how your new studio /making space unfolds whereever that maky be!xx

Hi Helen, I am also interested in creating a little place for painting. Thank you for showing is yours. I would also be interested in your botanical art books in your bookshelf, so I would love of you would do a video about them.
