Great video. I’ve just got a wing compact and I’m excited to try out some of its features for a live show. ✌️

Great video! I wouldn’t worry about others’ opinions; as you said, live music requires a completely different understanding compared to a studio or mixing environment, and I’m thinking the same. Every room, PA system, and other elements are different when it comes to live music mixing, and the combinations are endless. Thank you for taking the time to explaining.

I don’t worry about others opinions - I just don’t need to release a preset and have people spam me in comments/emails asking why my settings didn’t work for them. One less headache to have.

Who needs presets with a show like this, brilliant, from a dude at the top of the game. many thanks that was invaluable, but no illusions of what it takes to get there.

Great video as always. And you are right with your comment at the beginning. Folks should take away your videos just as inspiration and not as a bible. Every venue, every PA, every band is different and needs to be approached and mixed different. Keep on the good stuff coming!

Good disclaimers! thanks for the detailed explanation on the setup of your Wing. Great job explaining the WHY of each setting. Thanks again!

Interesting to see how you run things on a wing compact! My drum layout / setup is pretty different! I use a sub monster inserted on a subkick for lots of juice, then the distressor on snare, wave designer on inner kick, pultec eq on overheads. Still get a plenty punchy sound, but its always interesting to see what works for others!
