Hello. I was diagnosed Ramsay Hunt Syndrome, half faced paralyzed, last June 2024, I started antivirals and steroids on my 4th day after shingles appeared on my ears. The ENT doctor told me that it will take 3 months to fully recover. I prayed a lot during that time , and guess what, it took only 1 month for me to fully recover. I didnt go to therapy at all, just self therapy at home and just praying to God. God is really our healer. He is so good and faithful , all we have to do is to surrender oir life to Him. It was scary at first, but I trusted the Lord for His plans to me. I was healed by His supernatural power. You too, just believe His supernatural healing power. ❤

Here is my Bell's Palcy Full Recovery in One Month Story: On Oct 19th, 2022, I woke up and while brushing my teeth I felt that I was able to keep the water in my mouth or gargill the water effectively. I couldn't move my lips and started feeling numbness on my left side. I went to see a doctor and was diagnosed with bell's palsy. Rather than recovery, it was shock which I was not able to handle. Looking at your face in the mirror was a nightmare. So many questions. I was fortunate enough that my primary physician recommended me to go to the emergency room. No doubt It was one of the most horrible experiences of my life. The ER doctor immediately put me on a seven-day steroids plan. They did MRI to rule out any other possibility. Believe me, waiting in the ER and not knowing what would happen and if everything would be OK was killing me. Unfortunately, other than medicine, they didn't recommend me anything else. Whereas all the KZbin videos suggest starting the exercise immediately. I was surprised by the statement from the neurologist that 'study shows exercises will help with the bell's play recovery'. I reached out to doctors in India and they recommended me to start the exercises and electric stimulation immediately. Getting an appointment with a physiotherapist immediately in the USA was a nightmare. Also, they won't start any treatment without any approval from the insurance company. Fortunately, my physical therapy center was accommodative and they too mention that early exercises and electric stimulation helps with quicker recovery. They immediately set up the exercise plan with electrical stimulation. For those who are going through this, my recommendation is do not lose hope.It is just temporary and you will recover for sure. But no matter what you do, the first two weeks (in my case, 13 days) you will not see any progress. Treat this like any other infection and believe me, you will recover for sure. Here are a total of 22 exercises I did religiously three times a day, in addition to electric stimulation. For physical therapy, my sister-in-law, who is a doctor in India, helped me on a daily basis via video call. TRUST ME - Do not loose hope and have patience. I recovered fully in one month. You may take a little less or little more. But, believe me, exercises are going to help you recover quickly. By the end of two weeks, I started seeing improvement and, by the end of the fourth week, recovered 100% . Exercises: 1. Raise eyebrows (active and passive) - Five sets Raise eyebrows, hold 3 sec and then repeat. On the paralysed size you have to take help of your fingers to raise the eyebrows. Remember, your nerve has been damaged and you are stimulating and re-educating the nerve. 2. Bring eyebrows near center line (active and passive) - Five sets 3. Close your eyes fully (only active) - Five sets 4. Raise your nose and do sniffing (active and passive) - Five sets 5. Wide smile (active and passive) - Five sets 6. Teeth Clenching and wide smile (active and passive) - Five sets 7. Lower lip out with passive support for symmetry (active and passive) - Five sets 8. Neck exercise - Move your neck in all directions - Ten sets 9. Wide open mouth - Five sets 10. Cheek air puffing - Five sets 11. Ballon puffing - Five sets 12. Rincee the mouth with water - Five sets 13. Candle blowing from 6-8 inches - Five sets 14. Tongue Out, Eyeball up, hold three seconds - Ten sets 15. Roll eyeballs in all directions with hold of one second - Ten sets 16. Selfi lips for bringing symmetry back (active and passive) - Five sets 17. Rotate tongue in all directions - Ten sets with five seconds hold 18. Say 'Om' loud - Ten sets 19. Facial massage - Five sets of 10 seconds 20. Facial massage of affcted size 21. Your non-affected side is going to do lot of work as other side is paralysed. You have to give some comfort to non-affexted side with light massage and heat warming pad 22. Jaw pressing - 20 sets In addition to these exercises, I watched videos below during my recovery journey: Videos: kzbin.info/www/bejne/qX66eYp-i9x6Z9k&ab_channel=HealthQ kzbin.info/www/bejne/l6LEknqJbNWsf6s&ab_channel=PhysioClassroom kzbin.info/www/bejne/in3VhYx-eZuajpo&ab_channel=PhysioClassroom kzbin.info/www/bejne/l57Sn4qga8SXiZo&ab_channel=HealthQ kzbin.info/www/bejne/j4W9XnVnmpWIotk&ab_channel=HealthQ Stay positive and recover soon. Please reach out to me if you have started losing hope or anyone needs boosting just to let them hear from the person who went through this. Happy to help anyone free of cost. I know the pain and shock of going through this. Get well soon.....Thank you Everyone!

My doctor may confirm this next week and might recommend medication, though I'm hesitant because I'm pregnant, and it could affect the placenta. I'm considering undergoing only physical therapy. Hi Kamil and Racquel, I came across your video as I am suffering from twitching on right side of my face. Yes, stress and more than what it should be the use of computer screen maybe the cause of my problem. I had this right eye and sometimes cheek twitching since last several yeas but it was not bothering much, It would come and go. Thinking it might be related to some variation of nerve reaction related to shingles, I was prescribed a shingles antiviral shot too. My son has cancer detected in 2014 and I think this twitching started (very occasionally though) at that time but after 2-3 years my husband had some bacterial lung infection and that illness diagnosing the problem and treatment lasted 3 years. Coming out of that we both had covid attack (he was 81 and I was 68 then) , luckily we both survived. But again in 2022 he was detected colon cancer, surgery in 2022 November and chemo 12 sessions till September 2023 so continuous stress and dealing with my own health negligence and constant use of computer to deal with various medical appointments, follow up with billing issues with Health insurance etc.. now since last 6 months my right face twitching has been a real problem for me. It is very embarrassing as out of nowhere it will start twitching while I am talking to health professional or at the grocery store at the checkout or even sitting around family members. Because my husband has to now take chemo treatment for life we moved near our son from AZ to GA. Uprooting from our stay of 20 years and packing the household all by myself, no help whatsoever, at the age of 73 has taken its toll! I could not set up neurologist appointment for myself! Now we are near my son's residence and once we find our own apartment I will seek medical advice for myself. Let's see what the specialist says. It might be a simple nerve compression causing the twitch or it might be a deeper cause! Hoping for the best. Thanks for the video.

@@meerabakshi2676 hello! I've read your long comment and I feel sorry with all the unpleasant circumstances that you have to deal. I can imagine how stressful it is for you especially dealing with health issues your husband and son have. Anyway, twitching can be related, but I assumed yours can be cause of stress, maybe your magnesium level is very low due to constant stress. This is my just personal recommendation, apply magnesium oil also on the affected side it is best absorb by our body than tablets.

Please where can I take her to cause I'm tried 😭😭😭😭😭 and most times I cry under my pillow...... @@rhemaborikorwodi7535 hey! Sorry to hear that. How old is your child? If you see some improvement on her face and you cannot have access to therapy, facial massage can do. You can start mild massage on her and together maybe you can work on together like you can ask her to raise her eyebrows, smiles, pout the lips and many more

Hello! This is the medication. But I believe it must be prescribed by your neurologist. Nivalin is a medicinal product containing galantamine - an alkaloid isolated from snowdrop bulbs. Galantamine belongs to a group of drugs called actetylcholinesterase inhibitors. It increases the concentration of a chemical called acetylcholine, which is involved in the transmission of nerve impulses in the central and peripheral nervous systems. Nivalin is used in the symptomatic supportive treatment of neurological neuromuscular and spinal cord diseases.
