This is just a short video on some of my finds that I’ve had in the last couple months. Just thought I’d share all of it so everyone could see if they didn’t watch my other videos.

You have some nice finds, Cliff! I love the way you get excited seeing what you just found. Years ago, I was metal detecting in a cornfield. Got a good signal. Scratch the surface about 3 inches. There was a SNY belt buckle upside down with the three hooks, flipped it over and the excitement hit me! My 1st buckle! Happy hunting and thanks for sharing! Martinsburg, WV 🇺🇸

Thank you I know that feeling your talking about that’s an awesome first plate you got congrats on that and mine was just a US buckle but at age 15 I remember that 40 years ago like it was yesterday!! Thanks for watching I appreciate it!!

You've done extremely well at this site, and the NC button with shank is very rare! Must have been an warly war camp because these buttons tended to fall off easy and these " Tar Heel" boys had plenty to lose. You put out some great videos, a pleasure to watch Cliff. Keep digging that history bud...

Just subscribed after watching Mason Merc and Jims video. What an incredible amount of civil war relics you found. I love the buttons and the plates. I was fortunate enough to find a kepi hat eagle badge up here in Western Pa.

@ReachingHistory3 ай бұрын
Thanks and I don’t use it I went to the Xp deus2 the manticore is a great detector though just need a machine that was more versatile because I’m gonna use it scuba diving!
@terrygreennway96553 ай бұрын
@@ReachingHistory I understand. I have found a ton of stuff with my Deus 2 and it is light.

I am anxious to try the Manticore on a couple of my civil war sites where I am not finding much with the Deus 2 , even griding.

@dixiediggers6416 Best advice I can give that will help is offer the landowner some of your finds and be honest and give your background in the hobby to reassure them that they can trust you it will be a yes or no either way it’s the best policy!! It works for me!!
