MTGHeadQuarters I just have just a few months playing mtg and exclusively buy kaladesh cards, beaten lots of ppl and won a few tournaments. I just wondered which set is the best to play modern? I usually look for strange synergies

in my personal opinion there is no one "best" set for modern if your just looking to play for fun. Of course it also depends on what you like to play as both original mirroden and the newer mirroden blocks are great for artifact stuff as an example(which is basically 90% of kaladesh). Unlike standard where you can get away with playing from just one or 2 sets modern has almost 14 years worth of sets to pick from, and if you only pick from one set your limiting yourself. Also just as a warning since your new if your looking to be even semi competitive in modern its going to cost you some money as a lot of the modern staples are on the expensive side. If your looking just to play for fun then not so expensive as you can get away with more things. ether way though just look up the sets from 8th edition to present day and see what peaks your interest since there is plenty to pick from.

thedanath I've must've overlooked mirrodin, it's a pretty solid set to use for my standard artifact based deck, but it's a hella expensive. I'll still look through the other sets, thanks lad for the tips!

Pretty funny story here at least for me. So my friends and I go into our local game store every Thursday to play EDH. A couple weeks ago or so we went in on a Thursday - one friend asked the owner/cashier if there was any eternal masters available. "No, sorry - we had some guy come in and bought us out." Our local gamestore is TK Games, small world. I have listened to several of your videos but never heard where you were from. So to hear this video and come to figure out you were the one that bought him out is pretty hilarious to me. Got a subscriber, keep up the good work.

Opened 3 boxes the other day: 2 Maze of Ith, 2 Force of Will, 2 Wasteland, 1 Foil Jace, 2 Libraries, 2 Natural Order. Oddly, the most desired thing so far has been the Wastelands for whatever reason :)

You asked for our experience drafting this so heres mine. my LGS did a chaos draft with optional upgrade of having all your packs be eternal masters. i couldnt splurge for the eternal masters, but I did pick up a sengir autocrat that was the crux of my RB aggro deck with Kolaghan forerunners and westvale abbey.

Jeremy, you brought up the fact that MTG doesn't release foil tokens, and also wondered what set they will start. I really hope they become a thing, because I am a modern token player and plan to go to Vegas GP for 2017.
