Hey Blake, I passed my 4-10 single shot to my son, and all my kids learned how to shoot with it. He ended up in the army, and came up shy on being a sniper. Thank God! The round is for an M242 25mm Bushmaster Chain Gun. The Army uses them in the Bradley Fighting Vehicle (BFV), the Marines use them in the LAV25, the Air Force has them in the MC130 and the Navy uses them on ships. That's a sabot round. Can't tell if it's real or training. If the projectile part is blue, it's training round.

Those 25 mm rounds are a SABOT projectiles, after it fired, the nylon SABOT jacket is shed and the tungsten DART IS going down range at 3000 FPS. Designed to take out smaller vehicles/infantry type, piercing through light armor and Ricohet around the interior a bit 👍🏻

If it's 25mm, it isn't artillery. and unless you have an abundance of static or electricity normally running through you(electronically primed). It isn't very dangerous. TP rounds don't explode.

There is no such thing as 25mm Artillery, artillery starts at 75mm in size. Heavy Artillery is 152mm-155mm. What you have is a 25mm Anti-aircraft round from ww2. They make a flame explosion on impact, made to burn through plane "armour" and take them down. What you have is a M242 Anti-aircraft round that would be shot out of the MK 38, known as the Bushmaster.

We are all together right now but emmie had surgery on her broken nose. Bobby went home to visit family for a little while and me and Bryce have been getting our buts kicked trying to find stuff and the weather has been crazy. Ordered a new handle for it that should come in next week. It's cleaned and ready to accompany me on my next bear hunt in September. We have talked to police departments all around the south and if it's rusted up, they don't want them. The better guns we get are ran through the system and if it's a clean SN... well, it's legal. The people screaming to call to police just don't law.
